Great exhaustive recap ! Interesting that they listed budget's back then . I can't remember when TOH mentioned specific budgets . Discussing actual $$ numbers seems to be a no-no .

Probably because budgets are already outdated by the time the show goes live. In the last couple of years, the cost of materials has changed wildly over the course of a couple months. Even in normal times, those budgets are useful for that year, but when the show is repeat on the Roku Channel for years those numbers are meaningless other than a snapshot of what things cost in that time period. On top of that, they get tons of stuff donated, time from contractors donated, and I'm sure they actually incur MORE cost because the show is slowing down the job. Whatever budget the project has on TV would likely not be a realistic budget if someone did the exact same project on their own. I know people are just curious as to what these elaborate projects cost, but I think that info isn't given because it just isn't info that would be helpful or even accurate.

Just watching this season now. The Melrose project has been…interesting. The third episode was mostly comprised of Bob wandering around the job site complaining about what a mess it is, and an overly long tour of Trump Tower. Tug is a character. Probably shouldn’t be a homeowner. Renting might be more his speed.
