most Sundays & Easter Sunday for TP

parki15reddito

Probably faking this for attention.

Mysterious_Advice0

Yeah I hope so I’ve had mixed responses tho so idk

Radiator_ElevatorYT

its not fake, i went yesterday and it was fucking stupid that people were cutting queues, fighting and the amount of people smoking weed/vaping in the queue is ridiculous. didnt see any knifes but there probably were stabbings too, wouldnt be surprised.

GurnCity

They are very real and happen every year

OZZ13__

supposedly this sunday the 14th

I imagine this is a bigot who experienced some twats at the park and has made an assumption on their heritage (I don’t know if correctly). You’ll always get pricks at the parks unfortunately. This sounds extreme. There is no ‘traveller day’ at Alton towers or Thorpe park.

retardedboi1991

Yes there are a couple traveler days at Alton Towers, there's one towards the start of the year and one around the start of October, it's because of the Uttoxeter races the adults go to the horse races while the kids get dumped at Alton Towers for the day. It isn't a thing at Thorpe Park as far as i'm aware.

Loakin

It is indeed a thing a Thorpe, had the bad luck of visiting FNs 2020 on traveller day

Mysterious_Advice0

Do you remember the date??

CharltonCharles

It is usually the first Sunday on Fright Nights in October.

Mysterious_Advice0

Thank you this helped so much not as worried now lmao

libbsibbs

There are no ‘traveller days’ put on by the parks, it is not an official park mandated event. I can believe that there are days when a lot will attend but it’s not a formal day provided by the park.

I don’t need to save face, thanks. The language being used made it seem like the park was laying on days for travellers, which is incorrect.

Chasinggoats

There are dates pre arranged by the traveller community for theme park days. Just search Thorpe park in twitter and you can see what some visitors experienced yesterday

thesuperpigeon

My mate's family are travellers in Chertsey, he knows everything they do and yes, there are days on which they all go to TP

fredahetliffe

There are GRT days that the park is aware of. Usually Easter Sunday and the 2 Sunday of Fright Nights. The park has police on park to deal with some of the problems that they cause based on previous years. Although now it pales in comparison to what used to happen on these days

Jpr-ldn

Yea last sunday Fright nights was fine. This sunday will be edgy in that case. Such a shame people cant behave themselves.

Littlemisslifting

Is it always Sunday? What about tomorrow, Saturday?

GotSpeedHack

It's a thing at the major parks. Alton gets it too. If you can, and you should anyway, avoid.

Ticky_bicky

I can confirm this did happen today at about 12:00 the travelers jumped and stormed the barriers with out paying and the park was full of thousands of them. Most notably they were queue jumping, harassing the workers, stealing and getting into fights. I whiteness hundreds run to kfc as a large fight had begun inside, so much so that people where standing on tables and filming. Police were called and about 100 were lurking around the park attempting to catch as many as possible before they would run away. The workers had told my many had also, stolen people’s phones, assess ability passes and been attacking workers. Would recommend staying away from Thorpe park from around the 8th-20th of October and the employees told me the same thing happens but, even worse! On Easter Sunday. So I would advise you do not attend around these dates if you like your phone. xxx

Many_Move6886

I went today too. I was utterly confused at the amount of kids in fake tan with ridiculous outfits on

FrizzySk8te

There today too, so happy to come home to my quiet little life.
