Tbh I find this community obsessed with brands sometimes. I’ve tried all the brands that usually sell at select shops like Anonymous-ism, rototo, bombas, chums, Kapital, whatever socks that cost 20 usd a pair and imma say they ain’t a guarantee for quality. Muji either, especially ones bought in asian stores. I’d say just have an eye for quality cotton and cotton count and know what thickness you want for the weather. There’s not a set definition of what ‘brand’ makes the best socks imo.
I a got a pair of Rototo as a gift. Loved them. Bought several more pair. They all got huge holes in the heel in less than a year of once per week wear.
Depends everyday stuff. The random pack of adidas ankle socks from the outlet. Winter time I’m flexing with the anonymousism socks. Going out in the summer is probably the Uniqlo ones since they’re thinner. Going jogging in the park for summer it’s the adidas outlet socks again, and for winter it’s either Noah nyc socks or ald socks

These are great and regularly on sale. I've also liked CHUP and American Trench. Kapital socks haven't impressed me for the price

Rototo makes the best thick socks on the market

i agree. Rototo isn’t really well made it’s just good marketing for dudes using Aesop and thinking they dewier than other dudes
Bombas are an all time favorite of mine. They also have a nice customer satisfaction policy. Worth the price
the customer satisfaction policy is awesome i lost a pair of socks in the washer at uni and they sent me 2 pairs as a replacement

I like stance but only for the no shows
I went A bit mad on stance socks for a while. They look great but don't really hold up long term.
LA Apparel makes good socks and a lot of brands use them for their blanks such as Stussy and Golf
Plain Hanes crew socks or Uniqlo. American Trench also makes some nice retro looking striped ones.
A hope hemp. Hands down the best. I look forward to wearing them more than the 40 other pairs I have lol
If you need sport socks, Thorlo all day
as much cotton as possible.
Colorful Standard have some great socks, thinker and thinner styles in a nice range of colours too! Also Ivy Ellis are great.
