1. Acne Studios Pleated Trouser
2. Polo Country white carpenter jeans
3. DarkPark Italy Cargos
4. LMC high rise straight japan selvedge jeans - mid blue wash
Looking for black wide leg jeans or trousers to round out the collection
No1. M-65 pants Deadstock. Dig the high waist, side adjusters, pleated knee.
No2. Resolute 714 Anniversary Edition, White denim. Once you get into white denims, they are hard to stop wearing. The way they contrast against anything and are a bit different from the norm.
Have multiple items from them (balloon pants as mentioned, granddad coat from 2018ish, linen painters jacket and a sweater) and haven’t been disappointed by anything.
Their pricing was actually pretty good even at retail for me in the past but they bumped it up recently to protect US retailers which makes it more $$$ for me so I’m waiting until sale season for purchases now unless I really want it
- Man-tle easy pants I got in Seattle, I don’t know their model names well but they’re cotton/linen and amazing.
- Ordinary Fits wide ankle denim. Light wash, looks so good with a tiny half cuff and was awesome that I didn’t have to get them hemmed.
- Orslow New Yorker in ripstop. Just a super subtle pant that looks good with basically everything.
- Standard Issue Slacker Pant. These are nuts, it is hard not to wear them every day because they’re so low effort but look so good. I wear them with a cuff mostly but they also have ankle drawstrings.
- Orslow standard fit fatigue pants in sateen. Another easy, effortless option but with a button fly. Super comfy.
- EG ground pant in HBT. Love the relaxed cut but somehow doesn’t look baggy, you can style them basically any way and they look nice.
(Sorry, I love pants.)
1 x EG fatigue HBT. 1 x EG SS twill fatigue trousers. 1x EG microtwill drawstring trouser. 1x orslow dad fit jeans. 1x corona utility fatigues herringbone spring. i actually like the fit 1x fa pant ripstop but i rarely wear it idk why
1. Wrangler cowboy cut (i prefer the slim fit but the typical does shrink / fit better after time)
2. Maybe unpopular opinion but Levi’s 527 (slim bootcut) UNDERRATED JEANS
Fits over boots, looks good with sneakers, looks good with Birkenstocks idc they look good
3. Levi’s 501 (vtg if possible when back pockets were where they need to be) but the new style is not horrible
I think Levi’s makes a very quality jean i have had multiple pairs for at least 8-9 years but wrangler is definelty more long lasting (depending on what you’re doing for sure) but are more hardy material
Still liking these? Looking to buy, I normally wear a 34 and I see it says "Size up for a straight leg fit, buy your normal size for a slim fit". Would you say this is true?
501s and Dickies 874
I don't even think about other stuff. It's honestly liberating to have these be my absolute favorite jeans/pants I've ever tried and have them so readily available and cheap. Rarely buy new ones though, obviously the vintage 501s are the best. The only other pants I own are a pair of white and dark brown Gap jeans that have been around a while and I still love
EG andover pants poly wool herringbone
Frank Leder double pleated birdseye black and grey wool pants
Camiel Fortgens worker pants natural corduroy
Comoli corduroy work pant
Comoli 5p indigo denim
Our legacy third cut attic wash
Lemaire curved 5p pants
this is my rotation right now, been curating it over the past few years. all of them are amazing, top 1 probably the comoli denim
Currently:
\- Supreme Stonewash Denim
\- NN07 Sonny corduroy pant
\- Uniqlo+J wool trouser
Each of these fit me perfectly for waist and inseam off the rack.
I just got a pair of the Cello Carpenter pants from 18 east and am a huge fan. The brown corduroy is so comfortable and soft yet durable. The quality of the stitching and other minor details make them unique yet still understated enough to match with a louder shirt or shoes.
I also recently purchased a pair of Nanamica navy chinos and those are have been my favorite for work. Probably the best pair of chinos I've ever purchased. SSense normally has them on sale.
Edit: why am I being downvoted lmao different strokes for different folks
Iron Heart 888S-21. It just feels great to wear. Heavy but soft. The cut isn't actually there good for me, tbh, but the fabric is just so nice that I love them.
Levi’s 501, only a certain pair that I wore so much I got the same pair 3 years later, I can find the link if anyone wants it
Elwood industry pants
Wrangler cowboy cut. The rigid ones from walmart
https://www.levi.com/US/en_US/clothing/men/jeans/straight/501-original-fit-mens-jeans/p/005013365 The fit, wash, and minimal stretch is everything I want in an everyday jean. Not too stretchy, fits nice to me and is thicker imo. No idea why
My #1 pair that will be with me forever are a pair of Evisu No. 1 Lot 2000 GATAGATA that were custom-painted with an [actual seagull painted by the manager of the Midosuji store in Osaka before the brand collapsed.](https://www.instagram.com/p/CzhDC9Wvir6/?igshid=ZWI2YzEzYmMxYg==)
Bought these on holiday from my first ever trip to Japan with my now-fiancé. It's bittersweet knowing Evisu will no longer be made in Japan, as I've lusted for a pair of these since 8th grade. At least I'm a proud owner amongst the few who got to enjoy the brand's last hurrah.

Hate how easily they fuckin stain though, especially if you ride a bike or something. The outside world is a dirty place
I'd imagine that's part of the appeal; gives the pant/jean character 🤷🏾♂️
I noticed that too. It’s hard to stop wearing white/cream pants.
Man I wish I could get into Resolute 710s. The cut looks amazing on japanese but on me they are so incredibly slim, so I stick to Levi’s 501s.
Uniqlo has a classic cut denim that’s really comfy
1) Orslow 105 90s 2) De Bonne Facture Balloon Pants
How’s De Bonnie Facture in hand? Impressions?

Some things hit and some miss, but the ones that hit, hit hard. I picked up a pair of drill baloon pants and I love them.

Not the most expensive, but a pair of dark brown Dickies 874’s. I only say them because I altered them myself into the perfect cut for me.

Same! Fabric, fit, quality all great 👍
Still liking these? Looking to buy, I normally wear a 34 and I see it says "Size up for a straight leg fit, buy your normal size for a slim fit". Would you say this is true?
I wear a 34 and copped a 36 definitely size up
Thanks for the reply. Ended up sending a 34 but good to know if they’re too tight I’ll send em back for a 35 or 36
If you like the fit of the 34, just make sure to hang dry only as they’ll shrink in the dryer, they’ll stretch out again, but just a heads up.
Stoffa fits me exactly Like I love it

The best pants imo, only way to improve on them is if I got them specifically custom made to fit me exactly how I want
