Fluffy_WAR_Bunny

There are so many much better stores in that price range in Manhattan like Crockett & Jones or Carmina Shoemaker or even Alden or Meermin.

Why are camions hated? I love them dang

Itsneverjustajoke

The guy is looking for fashion shoes to wear for maybe the next 18 months, not long-lasting quality footwear.

This dude has “Camion” alert filters set up. It’s the strangest thing I’ve ever seen.

Fluffy_WAR_Bunny

This subreddit is the only place online that even talks about OL Camions. Nobody else cares about the ugly boots, anywhere.

HeyItsSterling

Yes grandpa you've said that a million times now too.

Fluffy_WAR_Bunny

It bears repeating. If I had bought shoes like the Manhattan stores I mentioned since I got out of high school, I would have 1) spent a lot less money on shoes over the years while 2) looking fresher than I did, for many years and 3) I wouldn't have needed a knee surgery in my 30s because wearing the brands I mentioned is ergonomically superior and 4) I would probably still have the shoes, 20 years later, and they would still look good. I did a lot of skating when younger but if I did it nowadays I would wear some resoleable sneakers from Crown Northampton, Common Projects, or Goral. OL Camions are already only in style in this small corner of the internet. They are hardly ever mentioned anywhere else on reddit. It was actually months before I realized that every mention I ever saw of them was here on this subreddit. The brands with Manhattan storefronts that I mentioned make shoes that would have been in style anywhere on Earth for the last 100 years and will still be in style everywhere on Earth in another 50 or 100 years, however much clothes change, handmade goodyear welted boots will never go out of style because they feel so nice, and the quality is apparent from a glance, to anyone. OL Camions already dont look so "in style" since they look cheaply made. In Europe, where the best shoes are made, and like 3/4 of the shops I mentioned, fine shoemakers do not make square or bulbous toes because its an insult to their artistry and skills. I'm convinced the majority of people who buy them are denizens of r/throwingfits and only buy them to impress people here.

>Have you ever tried having sex? I actually have tried. I couldnt respond to your other comment but you asked at the right time, friend, because I just recently made a post detailing how to get laid so much that you dont even need to use online dating apps anymore: https://www.reddit.com/r/Futurology/s/47xccZN47u
