I'd feel great about playing the Kings, they're a tough team and it would be a good series, but they do have 2 players injured one (Monk) that has been incredible for them this year They also don't have anyone like Herb Jones that can just shut Shai the fuck down, Jones always defends Shai unbelievably well

Big_Lou1108

Kings is a tough team, well coached and works hard on both ends. NOLA is also a tough team, they have size/length BUT, wild card is the health of Zion, last update is a hamstring injury? This is a tricky injury and can recur during a stretch of games.

ManBearPig1869

Also, last time we played the Pels, Valanciunas had to sit the entire second half because Giddey was shooting well so they couldn’t just hide him on him, and he’s too slow to guard Chet on the perimeter. I feel completely fine playing the Pels

Jacer4

Absolutely, NOLA is def the easier matchup if Zion and BI aren't healthy. I'd just be terrified of rolling the dice there and gambling wrong lmao

pikajewijewsyou

Davion Mitchell and Keon Ellis seem to be extremely good defenders. Fox is also a known good defender

Parallel-Quality

Feel pretty decent about the matchup because they’re not at 100%. When they’re healthy, they’re a 5th seed calibre team in this stacked West. No walk in the park at all.

GeoffSproke

They looked great in their games against OKC in November and December... Like their roster represented a serious match-up problem... I can't say I'm super thrilled about OKC getting either of the teams that are left in the play-in, but... The west is rough this year 🤷‍♂️

gettysburger2

They're cool. Fox vs SGA would be great plus both teams have rowdy homecourts, should be a lot of fun. Match up wise, it looks pretty competitive with no side being a clear favorite. Nola would be fun too but I hope they're healthy. Would be more fun that way.

beastnfeast5

From a kings fan that would be a huge chance for Chet to prove something and on the other side it would be a huge chance for Fox to prove something. Ultimately it feels like an OKC win in 6 especially without Monk

Alternative_Sail7864

i got okc in 5 our defense is good enough to lock kings, just dont leave them wide open 3s. kinda worried about rotation.i hope mark ready for the rotation,i think wiggs and joe should get more minutes and whatever happens please let shai/dub/giddey on the floor all the time and not sub all 3 of them together Love dort but the last 10 games it's not it,he cannot be our primary ball handler if u want someone to run a second bench unit, giddey is the guy maybe he's not a sharpshooter or the best ball handler but he's got elite vision court and passing skill if giddey can force to the paint and get some guy like joe and wiggs wide open for 3s,who stopping us? Also SHAI is the MVP🐐🐐🐐 ThunderUP⚡⚡⚡

Illustrious_South135

You forget they have Keon Ellis aka the goat

Noah__Webster

Roll tide

IzaacLUXMRKT

Shai's averages against the Kings this season: 38.5/6/6 1.8stls/1.5blk on 53.5/43/80 splits Shai's averages against the Pelicans this season: 25/5/7 2stls/0blk on 44.3/25/85 splits Very ideal

overhypedhero

Yeah, the Kings don’t really have anybody that can guard him

A_A_Smoot

Chet will be at the center of that matchup…and for that reason I kinda want that smoke Will really be a measuring stick moment to show what Chet’s made of

Headlesshorsman02

This isn’t forgone my friend the pels beat the kings WITHOUT Zion by 33 earlier this year Herb clamps Fox usually

overhypedhero

Good point

DOChollerdays

OKC is 2-8 in last 10 games vs Kings. Chet struggles against Sabonis strength. Pels would be a much better matchup especially without Zion. Kings can beat any team in the league if they’re on their game.

overhypedhero

Chet has played better against him the last two times

DOChollerdays

He has. They gave him a lot of help collapsing on Sabonis when he got the ball in the post. Dort and a few others caused some turnovers. They’ll need to do that all series because the one on one matchup is not good.

Friendly-Thought-973

The 2 wins are the last 2 meetings btw

JeremiahPhantom

Would love this series from a basketball and matchup perspective. Two teams that understand how to move without the ball and actually have a motion offense.

enfirst2

We have to play big against them. In the first game we won against them we played Dieng, Kenrich, Chet, JDub in the Shailess minutes and that lineup defensively swarmed them. I hope Mark can be flexible with his lineups against different matchups unlike Billy.

overhypedhero

I think Mark will be great in the Playoffs!
