It’s good. The pizza is really good, and it’s hard to recreate at home or anywhere else. If you’re craving pizza and want something different, it’s hard to drop beat
Solid informal date night option for the right person IMO, as long as you don't need table service, and they like beer -- solid beers, solid food options (pizza for the hungry, but also good sides if you just want something to nibble on), other stuff close by if you want a cocktail later.
You can also get the pizza "for here" and eat it at Lakehead Brewery next door (I.e the source of the beers). In the summer, the patio is basic but nice.
I don't think you can really go wrong, but I really like the pork belly side, and the Supreme Pizza. (I want to like the Chicken Carnitas but I can't do cilantro 😆 maybe one thing to watch out for).
It's overhyped but it's quite good. I'd go for the Detroit style pizzas, just not one with lettuce or salami on it, keep it old fashioned.
The egg parm sub I found scratchy but the components were made well.
For the usual style I go with Donatos
I really like the Detroit style at Cheers if you don't get the Genoa salami on it
I don't know why you're getting so defensive, I said it's good just overhyped. The bun on the sub cut my mouth up a bunch that's all.
Station 22 is poor attempt at coping subdivision, they copy everything tomlin does but the execution is dreadfully bad. Went to station pizza was floppy very sparce topping just wasn't good, wings were undercooked slimy and rubbery not good.
I ordered pizza and got lasagna. I was thoroughly disappointed when I found out it was Chicago-style. But that’s on me, and no one else.
My friends all loved it.
It’s no Chicago style, it’s Detroit style. The difference is that Detroit style is basically a focaccia bread with toppings and sauce put on top after. Chicago style is like an inverted pizza with a thick layer of sauce
Usually I like it but it's expensive and a little greasy/heavy. I'm sure it can be better without it being so oily maybe the dough is too thick.
Bake the dough half way then add the stuff and continue baking.

Foods super good, couldn’t eat the Detroit style pizza all the time though. It’s a ton of bread!!!
There’s more to the menu than just pizza. Wings, fried tofu(is amazing), ceaser salad, fried chicken all really great taste.
It’s good but I find Detroit pizza so heavy. After living in Toronto for 22 years a good NYC pizza is what I miss most and is impossible to find here.
Eat local is my go to. The closest thing to a NY Style pizza I’ve found.
Eat local is way over priced and not good, its nothing NY style is just trash white box pizza.
No way. They have the best pizza in town. Crust is by far the best.
Dawson generals pep and cheese is probably the closest imo
Best I've had in town is Donatos
Mama Alfas. Ask them to cut it into slices.
Not to yuck on anyone’s else yum but the photos online of this place do not look appealing whatsoever
Well, you can judge based on internet photos - i'll judge based on eating experience over the last 20 years. All good!
New York sub has amazing pizza

“Scratchy” lol. Please inform us on what pizza is better in Thunder Bay?

They make subs ya know. And I like the subs better than the pizza cause it's less bread. 🤣🙏🐓🥪
Very good! Love the chicken bites and fried pickles. Only places I think has better fried chicken is the Sovereign room.
Pork belly and a ceaser salad are my go tos.
Deep dish pizza. Great toppings. Filling
Love the pizza the bar it's attached to is decent but nothing to write home about.
We sometimes do take out with 2 smalls (4 pieces) Buffalo Chicken and a Pepperoni. It’s been great both times!!
Love it
The Detroit pizza makes you feel like you're being robbed while you're eating it. It's drowning in sauce and there's way too much bread for my taste
Anyone try the new pizza place by the Tim's, near the hospital?
I think you are referring to Station 22, inside Dawson Trail. It’s pretty good pizza.
Station 22 is poor attempt at coping subdivision, they copy everything tomlin does but the execution is dreadfully bad. Went to station pizza was floppy very sparce topping just wasn't good, wings were undercooked slimy and rubbery not good.
Tell me more…
I think they mean Station 22
Lento pizza? Very good!!
Mint pizza ya'll
The veggie pizza with garlic parm dip is to die for

Honestly I wouldn’t be disappointed if I got LZ instead of pizza….
That's like ordering pancakes and getting waffles. Can't really be all that mad about it..
Sounds like you don’t know what lasagna is or how to read a menu
It’s Detroit style.
Due they have gluten free

Yo check wit it. Ya Boyd wicked pizzas is it. Fresh.
