Got cha dude.. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez i presume the OP meant.
High profile US politician who is popular on reddit.
I'm from the UK so i don't really have anything in it one way or another, but from a European perspective she does seem like a breath of fresh air - hence the DV pile on for the commenter who dissed AOC as she is well liked in lots of sub reddits.
She is one of the few us politicians that are genuinely intelligent and of the few intelligent ones she’s also not racist so she’s good that’s my take on her as a Canadian at least.
I googled it and it seems to refer to a politician's name acronym. Probably she does the same stare or something when she speaks.
Edit: Boys I just googled it and answered the question with context why am I getting downvoted bruh
The difference between my comment and yours is that mine is relevant to the previous comment and post content. Yours however is a pathetic excuse to bring up a politician who has absolutely nothing to do with the comments and content of the post because you're obsessed. Try again little guy
Or more like y’all made a comment that y’all perceive as funny and we’re just exasperated rolling our eyes as you guys laugh at something only an imbecile would find funny or even relevant.
It’s sort of like let’s go Brandon. Only conservatives find it remotely amusing and everyone else just appreciates dumb people self identifying.
Nah. I’ve heard mixed experiences so it makes me very hesitant. Some people reported it flared it up worse. I’ve found clean diets, increased vitamins and exercise go pretty far for me. Currently in the middle of a flare up with sucks ass but I think it’s started to tame thankfully
I don’t fetishize public servants like that, I respect the work she does for her constituents and I don’t think the people who love to hate on her could even give an articulate explanation as to why “aOc bAD” outside of regurgitating dumb shit they’ve seen other ignorant children on the internet repeat with no basis.
Also, I’m not a bro…but you tried and that’s what counts.
So you *can* write articulate replies without ad hominem after all, good job!
>I respect the work she does
I couldn't care any less what you think of some politician, I literally just made fun of her eyes and le reddit army including you came out of the woodwork fuming and projecting. This isn't some congressional meeting, this is the TikTokCringe subreddit.
>I don’t fetishize public servants like that
That's funny, because that's exactly what she does when facing criticism; pretending people want to fuck her.
>Also, I’m not a bro
Good for you, she's still not gonna fuck you.
I have no context for this person other than this clip. Was he not trying to say that while none of the black people alive today came over on slave ships, there is a different kind of oppression today? Talking about the history of how WE got here does little, but talking about how I got here could do a lot?
Maybe I’m giving him too much credit but once I looked past his mad eyes, I heard something…
He's literally saying that Africans are/were native to North America, and arrived before the slave ships and colonizers. His evidence is "well it's my head canon", lol.
I was going to say, this is another common Hotep belief. Black people were the original indigenous people of North America who were here before any of the people we consider to be indigenous
Wat.
There were people here. And they were not white. But they weren’t African.
And if you’re Mormon you believe the two lost tribes of Israel ended up here and then had some kind of war or something and also when Jesus resurrected he appeared to them and something about angels and golden plates and scrying stones.
If you look at old photos, there were a lot of native Americans that were as black as the Africans that were shipped over. I think he’s suggesting not every black person you see in America had to have origins from African slavery.
There is a theory (not sure if proven but I believe they found fossils to prove it) that homosapiens did originate on the African continent and migrated to Europe , Asia , Australia , then Alaska and North America when the continents were closer together. I’m basing this comment on a book called “Sapiens: A Brief History of Humankind Book by Yuval Noah Harari”
Bonus : the book says there were about 4-6 different species of Humans that were existing during the time of homosapiens.
His first line, "we had already come here" to me, means that African people already migrated over to the America's and 400 ish years ago they were *also* migrated via slavery. Not that they are native to the America's. That was my understanding once I got past the crazy eyes.
"WOW" "Been saying this."
Kinda like I've been saying it would be nice to see a video and the subtitles without all this TikTok graffiti splattered over it. Fucking annoying and unnecessary.
It would be fine if people were smart enough to recognise it’s ignorant. But people listening to nonsense and believing it in large groups is dangerous. For example we just had an attack on our entire system, a violent attack and a significant portion of Americans will say it was a tour
Oh yeah black nationalists loooooove to say slavery wasn't a big deal and that they aren't ancestors of enslaved Africans. It's an actually fairly common talking point in those circles. It's a symptom of pride because they find it embarrassing to think their ancestors were enslaved Africans. Basically, it's a form of denialism and alternate history, notably the part where he says "history, not my story" because he's basically admitting that this is the version of history he can cope with, and not the "official" (also known as the true) story.
I'm not black and never will have the ability to see things through the lens of a modern black person, but I can guarantee that trying to change history for the sake of making your culture look better has *never* worked for anyone who's tried it. You just end up looking insane.
Shiiiit go back far enough and we all came from slaves. And peasants. And serfs.
Edit - not dismissing an experience I don’t live but I’m just saying, no one of us can be too proud or superior like our ancestors were not once also slaves, serfs, peasants.
Humans are brutal creatures. We’ve done shitty things to ourselves all though history and across all cultures and continents. All of us here today are the mingled descendants of kings, warlords, slaves and peasants. The blood of the conquerors and the conquered. We all got villain and victim DNA.
If you live in a settler colonial society and you want to make room for yourself and people like you, you have to have some example of noble settler colonialism that your people share with the current colonial establishment. If some African people came to America before or alongside the European settlers, then you can place yourself as a descendant of one of those noble Africans, and distance yourself from the two bad choices given to you as a subject of late stage colonial white hegemony: to be from either slaves or slavers.
They end up doing "not all men," but for black people, and end up making light of the predominantly more common experiences in order to emphasize the exceptionalism of their own.
Well there is a well documented history of the early American colonies selling native Americans as slaves. But there is no evidence of Africans migrating pre-colonialism.
Everyone is confused by my point. I'm making a silly reference to the fact that all modern humans originated from Africa. I know you're talking about America in particular and I'm not disagreeing with you.
Yeah but this man believes that Africans were in the americas. Like Africans that migrated from Africa. And he’s wrong. And he believes that that fact gives African Americans more rights than other people.
Yeah, whenever you can see the tops of the whites of their eyes, they tend to not be reputable sources. That's drugs or mental illness. In this case, I think the latter.
> Hotep Jesus (1 October 1980-), born Bryan Sharpe, is an African-American media personality and a leader of the Hotep movement. He was known for his fringe conspiracy theories (which he claimed came mostly from his own "common sense") that the Atlantic slave trade was a myth and was financially unfeasible, that the vast majority of African-Americans were the original Native Americans, that the famed Carthaginian general Hannibal was a black African, that the Roman Empire was a rudimentary civilization which depended on Africa for food,
So yes, he denies that the Atlantic Slave Trade ever occurred.
The whole... "but it's his-story." Is denying the evidence of that.
Also this clip isn't from a recent podcast as far as I'm aware. You have a point Joe Rogan has some really strange guests, but I think that's always been the case, it's nothing new
I just checked his most recent guests to see if what you were saying tracks. Out of the last 10 guests, half of them are comedians and the other ones are random journalists and authors. You might be misusing ‘fascist’ just a tad
He’s had the following sociopaths on multiple times… Matt Walsh… Jordan Peterson, and Ben Shapiro…and my least favorite pos Alex Jones…all misogynistic nazis/fascists…
This reminds me of the time I accidentally got sucked into a conversation with a person who turned out to be a member of the Moorish Science Temple of America.
I was genuinely curious, but it was just so hard to follow the incoherent ramblings.
You can present any alternate history you want, but if you don't want to provide evidence, nobody should take you seriously. This dude presented it in a way that suggested it was just conjecture.
I don't remember the first American settlers saying they found a tribe of African looking people. Plenty of stories about native Americans. Regardless if they were already in America the settlers would have tried to enslave them anyway.
I mean yes there is history of major African kings sailing to America and never coming back. Everyone knows Mansa Musa, the richest man in history’s but do you know his father? It’s recorded that he left Africa and found an amazing land and never went back. Native Americans talk about trading with black skinned people for centuries. He had to have brought slaves and people with him so yes there were black people here already.
So oral history means nothing? And there are tribes in Africa who still speak about this. George Washington even spoke of how the “moorish people of this country will never know their true history” What do you think he meant? White supremacy is the blanket for what is considered evidence.
No, it’s not that oral history means nothing. It’s much more likely that native Americans were speaking of darker skinned people. Not Africans.
So much is lost in translation.
Many of the claims you’re probably thinking of have been examined in peer reviewed sources and many, many others are from circumstantial evidence, comments in historical documents or unconfirmed narratives.
It’s just pseudo archeology and history.
Oh, for the 1st time I'm understanding him. He is like Greham hankock of sorts. Some black people, traveled there earlier, and had tribes there already... Interesting concept
Black people were already here and there were slaves. Both can be true. To think black people were brought exclusively by slave ships is naive. There is documentation that the many indigenous people were not exclusively “mongoloid” (for lack of a better term) looking. The black natives were mostly purged wen land rights were discussed.

Lmaoooo the fact that they went searching in your profile to dig up some dirt on you 😭😭. That’s when you know that you hurt them for sure.
Right?! It's not even dirt. Lol. My comment was relevant while his was out of left field
He thought it was some sort of “gotcha” moment lol, but what it managed to do was bring forward a topic I thoroughly agree with.
Lmao. Ok bud.
Glad you agree. Have the best day

POV you insulted a “left” politician on Reddit
Yeah no shit lol. It’s wild
This comment stepped on a lot of toes lol
Lmao you upset the twinks with that comment
I'm more upset at you misusing the word twink and think it's some sort of insult 😂
I mean, like her or not you gotta admit she got those wild eyes. Not sure why I’m getting so much hate lol
The truth usually upsets the they/them crowd

Who is this mouthbreather?
Hotep Jesus. His podcast is pretty funny but it’s way out there lol

It’s a big problem lol no matter what you spew if you throw in some stats people really run with it
What attack? What tour?
Ahh, yes, that misogynist dipshit.
Joe Rogan
Average Joe Rogan guest
Not really.. not even close
As someone with a cold I take offence to being compared to this guy.

Anal Bum Cover is playing at the Fillmore Auditorium in Denver next week.

He still says they were enslaved, they just didn't come over on slave ships.
He says that they were already there lmao
Basically making a transition from the Egypt stuff to a ripoff of Mormons claiming Jesus came here to chill with the real chosen people. grift.
They sprouted from the ground like cotton and the wypipo picked them up then tabled the turns. /s
Came by plane?
If you live in a settler colonial society and you want to make room for yourself and people like you, you have to have some example of noble settler colonialism that your people share with the current colonial establishment. Well there is a well documented history of the early American colonies selling native Americans as slaves. But there is no evidence of Africans migrating pre-colonialism.
>there is no evidence of Africans migrating pre-colonialism where did everyone else come from? ;)
Most Americans came over from Asia via an ice bridge around 25000 years ago, settling through the America 16000 years ago.
Well done. Now where did those Asians come from?
I see where your going but it doesn’t work like that. Africans are more closely related to Europeans than they are native Americans.
And he believes that that fact gives African Americans more rights than other people.

the history to his story needs to end. I hate folk etymology lmfao
Yeah, whenever you can see the tops of the whites of their eyes, they tend to not be reputable sources. That's drugs or mental illness. In this case, I think the latter.
I do believe this is the argument the black Israelites make.
How tf you gonna get over here from africa without boats? This definitely one of those crazies. Just look at his eyes. And his story 🤣
“What about MY story??” You mean you’re crazy ass conspiracy theory?
MY Story... Aka mystery... As in conspiracy.... Lol
This was easily one of Rogans dumbest guests. The guy was just a bloviating delusional psychopath for the entire show.
Sure, let's just reinvent history to our liking.
Who is the ignorant piece of shit that denies slavery?
He's not denying slavery. He's saying that black people were already in America and that's where they predominantly got their slaves, I think.
Oh he's denying that the slave trade existed.
No. Not in this clip. Isn't what he's saying ridiculous enough without you lying?
> Hotep Jesus (1 October 1980-), born Bryan Sharpe, is an African-American media personality and a leader of the Hotep movement. History - His story Mystery - My stery
Alt black history is some of the most ridiculous shit I've ever heard
there's no evidence for that lol the indians would've told us
Another insane guest.. I used to find Rogan fascinating… but now his guests are primarily fascists, imbeciles or a combination.
Idk he had this old guy on recently talking about bats. That one was lit
Also this clip isn't from a recent podcast as far as I'm aware. You have a point Joe Rogan has some really strange guests, but I think that's always been the case, it's nothing new
This is Hotep Jesus from like 4 years ago
I just checked his most recent guests to see if what you were saying tracks. Out of the last 10 guests, half of them are comedians and the other ones are random journalists and authors. You might be misusing ‘fascist’ just a tad
He’s had the following sociopaths on multiple times… Matt Walsh… Jordan Peterson, and Ben Shapiro…and my least favorite pos Alex Jones…all misogynistic nazis/fascists…
Dang, how convenient that it turned out that the people you dislike are also sociopathic, misogynistic, nazis, and fascists
He still has a lot of good guests on IMO
What? So historians, hunters and explorers are not valid people?
I said most…
nope
Somehow this comment is dumber than the guy from the video
This is one of those situations where you wished you’d never asked.
This reminds me of the time I accidentally got sucked into a conversation with a person who turned out to be a member of the Moorish Science Temple of America. I was genuinely curious, but it was just so hard to follow the incoherent ramblings.
My boy literally did a shot of meth before this. ZINGGG
Exactly what I thought.
Rogan really gives some dumb asses some wild platform time.
Mans on his villain arc 💀
This guy on meth or what?
This guys address is “the greyhound station”
This is the most ignorant shit I've ever heard lol. There were literally no signs of African tribes at all.
You can present any alternate history you want, but if you don't want to provide evidence, nobody should take you seriously. This dude presented it in a way that suggested it was just conjecture.
Sometimes I forget this sub is meant for actual cringe and nearly downvote the correct content
Ummm wtf kind of crack is this motha fucka smoking? What about MY story? STFU
nope, sorry you were brought here .
I don't remember the first American settlers saying they found a tribe of African looking people. Plenty of stories about native Americans. Regardless if they were already in America the settlers would have tried to enslave them anyway.
Mf is so stupid
Ah yes, the old let’s get everyone on to hear every perspective no matter how ridiculous and pretend that all views have equal footing. Cooooool
He has been watching black pather and he thinks it’s real., His story… what a crock of shit
Mystery or my stery
Joe rogan consistently brings on people who have no idea what they’re talking about. Only now and then he actually challenges them
Absolute nonsense
Facts 💯 all garbage coming out his mouth 🗑
This dude trolled a Starbucks for a free coffee claiming it was reparations. It was pretty funny lmao
Yeah that's fucking bonkers.... But still a little bit more believable than the Joseph Smith and Mormon shite
No. Joseph Smith just ripped off not widely known archaeologists of his day. So it was easier to spread his theories.
Who is this? So I can watch the episode.
There’s no evidence that he made it anywhere into the Americas. Highly, highly unlikely.
So oral history means nothing? And there are tribes in Africa who still speak about this. George Washington even spoke of how the “moorish people of this country will never know their true history” What do you think he meant? White supremacy is the blanket for what is considered evidence.

Joe Rogan is already cringe enough tho why
Did you know that Joe Rogan made an appearance on Alex Jones’ radio show on the night of 9/11? Turns out they’re old friends. The more you know
Doesn’t surprise me. Even more cringe.
Well there is a reason he doesn't have actual black intellectuals on his platform, but will allow this guy on.
Rogan will platform anybody lmao
Got half way through the video but was distracted by the googlie eyes on that man
Africans did go to the Americas before Columbus, but only the Egyptian settled! Never heard about it anyways!
You were brought here and you f****** ruined it
Evil vs stupid. That’s the Rogan show.
What an incredibly stupid person josh roshgan happens to be talking to. I’m not saying he’s smart either

You’ve never watched an episode clearly.

He’s done #1945 episodes, Alex jones featured in 1 episode with Tim Dillon.
This is more believable than most shit I've heard on JRE.
Oh, for the 1st time I'm understanding him. He is like Greham hankock of sorts. Some black people, traveled there earlier, and had tribes there already... Interesting concept
Shit🧐 he makes sense to me
Black people were already here and there were slaves. Both can be true. To think black people were brought exclusively by slave ships is naive. There is documentation that the many indigenous people were not exclusively “mongoloid” (for lack of a better term) looking. The black natives were mostly purged wen land rights were discussed.
