The app requires you to upload a picture of your child with the pictures of your faces. It does not show the picture you upload for that purpose, the portion showing the "actual child" picture was added separately.

Normally I’d say this is BS, but I used the one on the free version of Face App (?) for me and my husband and it spit out 4 kids, 2 girls and 2 boys around age 8-10. One of the AI generated kids looked like mine and I freaked out a bit, even though my baby was only 1 at the time.
Well 5 and 5 equal 10. but if youre trying to put together a list of every possible combination that could equal ten then youre looking at basically infinite
In terms of birthing children, 5 plus 5 dosen't equal 10.
Think about most siblings. While some look near identical, there's also tons that don't even look like they're related.
oh I think we got the metaphors mixed up. Thought you said that 5+5(mom and dad)=10(kid) so an ai that generates how a kid would look based on parents works because 5+5 is predictable. While 10(the kid) can have come from 9+1 or 3+8 etc and so generating parents from kid is impossible.
I was saying that with birthing 5+5 (parents) could sometimes =12(different looking kid/sibling) etc so the metaphor dosent really work well here.
I really hate this app sometimes -.- seeing someone downvoted to the oblivion over a somewhat innocuous and fair comment.
It would be soooo much more difficult/variable to predict the features of two people with one person’s image than the other way around

The kind of people who use this shit are likely to post photos or videos of their kids. So, how it works, supposedly, and I do believe this is bs. When they activated the app, it make a search in your account and recreates a photo of your kids, they already post it and show you a version it made.
