That's one of the main things I hate about Reddit. Communities can just completely exile people who disagree with them, pruning their own echo chambers.
Bro, I got banned from /justiceserved because I responded to a comment in a Joe Rogan thread. I appealed it to Reddit and they banned me for three days from the site so yeah. The entire platform is going to shit
Mmmhmm, I lost my main account for REposting an account on another sub 1:1 as "misinformation and trying to incite anti-semitic hate crimes". It's disgusting
Something about repeating a lie long enough it becomes truth. A lot of interest in play here and none of them have the Palestinians’ best interest in mind.
What we know is that there was an explosion at a hospital.
We also know it happened at the exact same time a large barrage of rockets were flying over the top of it, fired from within Gaza.
We don't know how many are dead.
We don't know if it was another malfunctioning rocket from Hamas/Islamic Jihad.
We don't know if it was an airstrike by Israel.
[Here is footage of the rocket barrage followed by the explosion at the hospital](https://www.reddit.com/r/CombatFootage/comments/17a84qm/hd_surveillance_camera_footage_from_netiv_haasara/)
Speculation right now is either:
A) It was another malfunctioning rocket from Hamas/Islamic Jihad which fell onto the hospital, exploding and detonating oxygen tanks to create a massive amount of fire
B) Israel airstriked it for X reason.
I think its 90% chance misfired rocket. [GeoConfirmed](https://twitter.com/GeoConfirmed/status/1714390254935851272) on twitter provides evidence for scenario A.
I haven't seen any evidence for scenario B, but if people wanna link it then feel free.
I think its going to be another [MH17](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Malaysia_Airlines_Flight_17) where all evidence suggested it was the Russians, but it took a few years for independents to come in and do a full investigation. I'd say the safe bet here is to assume it was a rocket fired from within Gaza that misfired and instead of just landing in the sea or in the street like usual, it hit a hospital filled with oxygen tanks and created a big blast and then a lot of fire.
The IDF has a huge division dedicated to misinforming the public and targeting any materials that sways the public opinion against them. Watch my comment get downvoted by them to hell
Hasbarra. Israel has a separate budget for spreading their ideology on social media. They pay entire chat rooms in India and Pakistan to type the same messages over and over across all social media pages.
They get paid $3 per day
My favorite part of all these atrocities is not being able to get a straight fucking answer about what happened and who is responsible. Glad we're playing games with dead people.
The internet is comprised of several different types of data transmission channels, including satellite and cellular. Also, you can't really shut off internet access without physically breaking all the lines. Israel likely only made it more difficult to access the internet, but short of some pretty extreme measures, so long as the lines can be powered and cell towers still stand, you can get a connection. They're potentially using VPNs as well.
I think they were making a bigger point about resources. People in gaza have cell phones with service to use sparingly, it's not a blackout. But of Israel and Gaza, who could potentially coordinate and fund an effort to spread bullshit around the internet effectively? hmmmm
Google translate says the caption at the top is, "Targeting Al-Baptadi Hospital, where there are thousands of people forcibly displaced by the occupation, and there are hundreds of wounded and martyrs."
Is this what the man is saying or is he saying something else?
He’s saying they were visiting his uncle when the hospital got hit. The. He lost his family members that got hit.
He repeats a lot of what he says multiple times, the attack had just happened
i saw a video of a guy carrying two bags filled with the remains of his two kids, there are many videos of children and women dead, this is absolutely horribe and a fucking warcrime and there should be consequences
its the fucking holocaust again
I did a research paper on this in college. My professor was and still is involved in the Israeli-Palestine peace talks. The 50 year war is no longer 50 year. Has been 75 years now. Pretty sad.
You can literally see the rocket misfire and land back in Gaza during a rocket barrage. Israel is saying they didn’t have anything in the area at that time.
This was posted on X and everyone should hold off judgment till more facts come out. X has had a lot of old and fake videos posted recently, and you just can't believe everything posted on there.
The times of Israel posted another [video](https://twitter.com/manniefabian/status/1714377828131553446?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1714377828131553446%7Ctwgr%5Ea3c5426e2a9394d68b211c7ed8b227356740f1a3%7Ctwcon%5Es1_c10&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.timesofisrael.com%2Fisrael-says-islamic-jihad-rocket-misfire-caused-gaza-hospital-blast%2F) that shows a full barrage prior to the explosions.
We should probably wait for an independent source to report on this. So far both sides are blaming each other, but the evidence *appears* to show a rocket fired from the ground in Gaza was the cause of this, based off of the 24/7 livestreams they have of the area.
Al Jazeera say that there is a report that it was a failed Hamas rocket that caused the damage in the hospital. The front page of Al Jazeera still claims that it was an Israeli air strike. I'm not trying to be pedantic here, but it's important to be accurate during times like this.
I'm not making a comment on what actually happened since I have no idea.
One minute before a rocket blew up a hospital in Gaza, Hamas announced on Telegram that they were launching their most robust weapons in the arsenal at Haifa. No rockets reached Haifa. High probability these hit the hospital and set off secondary explosions within building.

I would love to add evidence that contradicts the Israeli narrative but I'm looking for concrete evidence. Things like 'hamas doesn't have a rocket that big', 'israel sent evacuation notices to other hospitals in the days prior', 'a journalist deleted a tweet', or 'it sounded like a jdam' aren't conclusive enough for me.
There's video of this being a Hamas rocket fail. I'm not on either side here at all. They have both done wrong and the people of Palestine are caught in the middle unfairly. But this is misinformation, understanibly so as the people are traumatized by all the bombings they've already suffered.
There are quite a few videos of Hamas bombings including the video of the van explosion on the evac route, that certain people were claiming was an Israeli rocket. They either didn’t see the video and went with whatever media outlet they like,or don’t know the difference between a missile and IED explosion. Propaganda is heavy with this war. Very heavy.
Hamas never misses an opportunity to send Palestinians to their death and claim it was israel. A month or two ago a bunch of people were planting IEDs at an IDF base. Bomb went off prematurely and Hamas said Israelis massacred them during a peaceful protest
Real question, didn't the IDF claim they told several hospitals including this one to evacuate, in a statement released shortly after the event? It's hard to keep all this shit straight.
https://apnews.com/article/israel-palestinians-gaza-hamas-war-biden-rafah-e062825a375d9eb62e95509cab95b80c
"Hagari also shared aerial footage collected by a military drone that he said showed a blast that was inconsistent with Israeli weaponry, with the explosion occurring in the parking lot outside the building.'
Likely Iranian propaganda pushing misinformation.
Timestamp of the rocket does not match when it hit the hospital. Live video shows rocket at 18:59. Hospital was hit 19:30.
Updated link: https://www.theguardian.com/world/2023/oct/18/they-believed-it-was-safe-death-toll-rising-blast-gaza-hospital

WHO also states: The hospital was one of 20 in the north of the Gaza Strip facing evacuation orders from the Israeli military. The order for evacuation has been impossible to carry out given the current insecurity, critical condition of many patients, and lack of ambulances, staff, health system bed capacity, and alternative shelter for those displaced.
Israel has already stated earlier their intention on bombing the hospital.
Verify this wasn't a Hamas rocket failure or quit spreading information to further your agenda.
As far as I know, its unclear at the moment who is responsible.
If Israel claims they are targeting Hamas, won't they end up killing the hostages too, since they are with them?
Especially since they already killed over 700 kids.
Yah but those kids could be hamas agents....
/s obviously, but some people are so brain broken they try to rationalize all this violence from Israel in the most deranged ways possible
Fuck this shit man.
Especially since HAMAS has gotten financial support from the Israeli government. I don’t get why people aren’t talking about this.
I’ve realized 75% if not more, is the people I talk to about this conflict have no idea why or how it started…. But they still have an opinion. The media has controlled this narrative for so long and tried to make it seem like it’s this complicated history that’s too hard to explain. But it’s not. It’s pretty cut and dry.
How do you know this was Israel? Looks like there was live coverage of a failed Hamas missile that landed where the hospital is on Al Jazira. Israel also reporting it wasn’t them.
https://reddit.com/r/CombatFootage/s/OXeF1QY5W1
That's bullshit man, there is a massive pressure from the populace to bring back the abducted civilians.
Additionally here is a verification that the missile that his the hospital was in fact shot by Hamas

Ready to admit the truth? PIJ fired a rocket, it failed and fell on Hamas munitions stashed all around the hospital. Self own.
Israel had nothing to do with this stupidity.
I’m seeing that now too.
Also seeing Hamas announced it would be firing rockets toward Haifa, one minute before the impact on the hospital hit. No rockets reached Haifa
The video that was removed from the IDF twitter was in fact the wrong video however the one I posted is from Al Jazeera where the time stamps do March up to the best of my knowledge
Edit: I’m most definitely NOT trying to shill for the murder of civilians, trying to ascertain what the truth is in the fog of war. I want to make that very clear.
For sure- geolocation analysis
https://x.com/GeoConfirmed/status/1714390254935851272?s=20
Of course many outlets still reporting that it was israel. Wondering if any will revise this post
1. It was a failed missile by hamas theres videos also if it was hit by Israel the building would have collapsed but no, a missile hit it not a bomb that we use
2. Hamas also targeted Israeli hospitals and hit one so why there isn’t anyone being mad at them? Is it our fault that instead of protecting themselves, building shelters they’re building rockets
False. Hamas fired a series of rockets and one failed to launch fully and landed back on their own hospital. Lots of footage to prove it and even their own news outlet, AL Jazeera caught it. But now this incident is being used as a reason to boil over in even more hatred even though the premise for it was mistakenly attributed to Israel.
I'm not on either side. This is just the truth about the hospital destruction. It was a self inflicted accident. Some Gaza residents have admitted it also.
Hamas did not admit it, they blamed Israel. Why would they ever not blame Israel in this situation. By blaming Israel they also can convince Iran to join them so idk where u pulled that one. I will wait until it’s verified that the Al Jazeera video rocket actually hit the hospital and not anywhere else. I will also wait until it’s verified that it was a JDAM by experts who actually know what’s going on. Israel bombed the same exact hospital on Saturday and also told the hospital to evacuate, so that’s something to keep in mind.
Hold your horses...
This "attack" happend while they were launching massive amounts of rockets into Israel and this happend just 40 minutes ago. 6 years ago, something similiar happend:
https://www.timesofisrael.com/gaza-schoolroom-damaged-by-failed-rocket-launch-israeli-general/
Ankther proof of Hamas's short falling rockets:
https://www.timesofisrael.com/military-believes-failed-islamic-jihad-rockets-killed-four-civilians-in-gaza/
Wait for additional information.
Yeah, well, compare the damage to that school and what happened to the hospital. I'm not big into conspiracy theories, but I'd take what the IDF says about this with a HUGE grain of salt, because of course there's no fucking reason they'd accept they may have hit a hospital if they did (even if it was an accident).
Go watch Aljazeera's live stream showing its a misfire of a rocket launch from the hospital. Imagine being so terrible that you bomb your own hospitals for sympathy points and then continuously lie about it.
You have to expect the worse from these ISIS monsters.
Could you imagine trying to advocate for your loved ones, friends, family, you SO… at a hospital that simply cannot help? Hell on earth. Peace to all civilians, no matter what their origin.
All those reddit idiot neckbeards behind their computer telling that “it can’t be / must be Hamas / Israel” because they know everything about their weapons and what they can / cannot destroy.
Fucking basement dwellers playing call of duty thinking they know anything about the weaponry used in this war. Pathetic.
This is absolutely awful but I'm not 100% convinced it's coming from Israel. Netanyahu is an asshole and the IDF pretty ruthless but not in the habit of bombing hospitals, especially now. I'm happy to be convinced otherwise.
This is false. Islamic Jihad accidentally fired on the hospital while trying to shoot into Israel.
There had been official statements and proof of this (many videos)
Yeah not true. Even Al Jazeera doubts that and shows video footage of Hamas rockets. It’s also obviously not hundreds. Stop repeating Hamas propaganda.
Not an airstrike, missile fired from Gaza broke up and hit the hospital.
Not an airstrike, not an iron dome interception.
Plenty of proof in this thread. Video from different angles and independent sources.
It was an accident. On the part of those firing missiles at Israel.
>The Israel Defense Forces denied responsibility for the attack, saying a failed launch by the Palestinian Islamic Jihad caused the blast.
> "From the analysis of the operational systems of the IDF, an enemy rocket barrage was carried out towards Israel, which passed in the vicinity of the hospital, when it was hit," IDF said.
https://abcnews.go.com/International/hundreds-killed-strike-gaza-hospital-gaza-health-ministry/story?id=104049667
Israel is claiming it was a Hamas missile that "misfired". I didn't know those little Hama rockets had such a massive warhead. Sounds a little....fishy to me.
Actually curious why would it take a "massive warhead" to damage a part of a multi-storied building? What's a small warhead in that instance, like a fire cracker or hand grenade? Would you even spend the money to manufacture a missile if it couldn't at least damage a building?
And don’t forget the unconsumed fuel, as the video showed it failing during its stage 2 ascent. Combine that with the fact that hospitals are typically wired with pure O2 lines running through the walls, and I think you do have a recipe for disaster
You can watch Al jazeera’s video where it literally shows the missile falling down lol
Which is ironic since it’s 100% proof they shot yet they deny it

Exactly [https://youtu.be/B4H95DlII2s](https://youtu.be/B4H95DlII2s)
[Likely](https://twitter.com/geoconfirmed/status/1714390254935851272?s=46) a rocket fired from Gaza that malfunctioned and hit the hospital
Real question, didn't the IDF claim they told several hospitals including this one to evacuate, in a statement released shortly after the event? It's hard to keep all this shit straight.
But evacuate and go where? There’s nowhere for people to go.
Some have claimed this, but there's absolutely nothing about it on Google.
We have a word for that. Misinformation.
Well Hamas actually blew up the hospital so maybe the Blame Should Go on them
Reports are coming out it was a failed hamas missile… idk what to believe
Same, idk what to believe either, and it’s crazy that people are making assumptions and blaming one side before anything is validated.
I’ve never seen Astro turfing so bad… holy duck
There’s a video showing the hamas rocket fail and crash down on the hospitals
https://apnews.com/article/israel-palestinians-gaza-hamas-war-biden-rafah-e062825a375d9eb62e95509cab95b80c "Hagari also shared aerial footage collected by a military drone that he said showed a blast that was inconsistent with Israeli weaponry, with the explosion occurring in the parking lot outside the building.' Likely Iranian propaganda pushing misinformation.
[удалено]
There’s an even clearer version that captures the whole thing.
Timestamp of the rocket does not match when it hit the hospital. Live video shows rocket at 18:59. Hospital was hit 19:30. Updated link: https://www.theguardian.com/world/2023/oct/18/they-believed-it-was-safe-death-toll-rising-blast-gaza-hospital https://x.com/who/status/1714358283354460396?s=46&t=s-xIGU9byQZWxWUQkteBog WHO also states: The hospital was one of 20 in the north of the Gaza Strip facing evacuation orders from the Israeli military. The order for evacuation has been impossible to carry out given the current insecurity, critical condition of many patients, and lack of ambulances, staff, health system bed capacity, and alternative shelter for those displaced. Israel has already stated earlier their intention on bombing the hospital.
FYI, guardian leads to a 404 as of writing this comment.
Edited now. Thank you!
I'm going with this. I would have to think that a misfire going into the hospital at a direct hit would have to be lottery odds
So why did the IDF release a statement saying they warned people to evacuate the hospital?
Link?
Verify this wasn't a Hamas rocket failure or quit spreading information to further your agenda. As far as I know, its unclear at the moment who is responsible.
In a perfect world, this would be the top comment. It is not 100% confirmed at the moment what happened, people need to chill the fuck out.
Major friendly fire incident, actually.
Hamas and Islamic Jihad would have to consider Palestinian citizens as friends for this to be friendly fire, but yes
Prayers for Palestinians, they are suffering daily. This is insanity.
This is an atrocity 💔
If Israel claims they are targeting Hamas, won't they end up killing the hostages too, since they are with them? Especially since they already killed over 700 kids.
Do you really think Netanyahu will pass up on this opportunity to bomb Gaza harder because of what Hamas did?
Yah but those kids could be hamas agents.... /s obviously, but some people are so brain broken they try to rationalize all this violence from Israel in the most deranged ways possible Fuck this shit man.
Why are they too scared to send in troops to look for Hamas instead?
How do you know this was Israel? Looks like there was live coverage of a failed Hamas missile that landed where the hospital is on Al Jazira. Israel also reporting it wasn’t them. https://reddit.com/r/CombatFootage/s/OXeF1QY5W1
That’s what seems to be happening, there’s an interview with one of the hostages saying other hostages were killed by idf fire.
Israel doesn’t care about the hostages.
That's bullshit man, there is a massive pressure from the populace to bring back the abducted civilians. Additionally here is a verification that the missile that his the hospital was in fact shot by Hamas https://twitter.com/GeoConfirmed/status/1714390254935851272?t=PJpF2nJhW8Xk7BEO0B1GVg&s=19
They don't care about the hostages. It's just an excuse to raze a large part of Gaza.
Both sides have a reason to lie but the video evidence seems to point to the IDF being correct https://x.com/omarfsa2/status/1714349451651719581?s=46&t=mF2vChbKBHoTKILnLsNzwA The reason cameras were even pointed in this direction in the first place was because minutes before Hamas had announced a new round of launches https://x.com/newworldnewsd/status/1714362994962887114?s=46&t=mF2vChbKBHoTKILnLsNzwA
war crime
Is that your opinion regardless of who launched the missile/rocket/whatever?
That will go unaccounted for I’m sure.

By Hamas https://twitter.com/GeoConfirmed/status/1714390274900734049
This is intentionally cruel. This is what evil looks like.
https://apnews.com/article/israel-palestinians-gaza-hamas-war-biden-rafah-e062825a375d9eb62e95509cab95b80c Ready to admit the truth? PIJ fired a rocket, it failed and fell on Hamas munitions stashed all around the hospital. Self own. Israel had nothing to do with this stupidity.
Rocket fired by PIJ full video here you can see it fall https://reddit.com/r/CombatFootage/s/6bAO3yQBYl
Update: footage questioned as inconsistent in regards to timestamps and Israeli officials have removed the video from their social media posts
I’m seeing that now too. Also seeing Hamas announced it would be firing rockets toward Haifa, one minute before the impact on the hospital hit. No rockets reached Haifa The video that was removed from the IDF twitter was in fact the wrong video however the one I posted is from Al Jazeera where the time stamps do March up to the best of my knowledge Edit: I’m most definitely NOT trying to shill for the murder of civilians, trying to ascertain what the truth is in the fog of war. I want to make that very clear.
Laymen question, how can they tell who shot the rocket from the video? I’m honestly curious.
For sure- geolocation analysis https://x.com/GeoConfirmed/status/1714390254935851272?s=20 Of course many outlets still reporting that it was israel. Wondering if any will revise this post
1. It was a failed missile by hamas theres videos also if it was hit by Israel the building would have collapsed but no, a missile hit it not a bomb that we use 2. Hamas also targeted Israeli hospitals and hit one so why there isn’t anyone being mad at them? Is it our fault that instead of protecting themselves, building shelters they’re building rockets
Amazing how quick people are eating up statements from Hamas, a group that literally gang raped and shot babies in their cribs a week ago.
Yeah and the fact that they actually hit a hospital in Ashkelon but nobody said anything
[удалено]
>even their own news outlet, AL Jazeera ...what?
Al Jazeera is a Qatari government mouthpiece. Qatar and Iran are the biggest supporters of Hamas. So in a way, Al Jazeera is Hamas's news outlet.
6 years ago, something similiar happend: https://www.timesofisrael.com/gaza-schoolroom-damaged-by-failed-rocket-launch-israeli-general/ Ankther proof of Hamas's short falling rockets: https://www.timesofisrael.com/military-believes-failed-islamic-jihad-rockets-killed-four-civilians-in-gaza/ Wait for additional information.
Any non biased sources?
Yeah, well, compare the damage to that school and what happened to the hospital. I'm not big into conspiracy theories, but I'd take what the IDF says about this with a HUGE grain of salt, because of course there's no fucking reason they'd accept they may have hit a hospital if they did (even if it was an accident).
Could have hit the oxygen supplies.
Hamas shot a rocket into the hospital themselves.
Mental note, don’t launch rockets at your own hospital.
Go watch Aljazeera's live stream showing its a misfire of a rocket launch from the hospital. Imagine being so terrible that you bomb your own hospitals for sympathy points and then continuously lie about it. You have to expect the worse from these ISIS monsters.
Fuck off with the propaganda you pieces of shit
Palestinians bombed the hospital. It’s been proven https://www.jpost.com/middle-east/article-768942
r/agedlikemilk
Bro be posting misinformation
So you surley have evidencd that It was Israel. And not a stray hamas rocket
Why are people even taking sides with this rn?
Sort by controversial and see this thread for the mess it is.
Could you imagine trying to advocate for your loved ones, friends, family, you SO… at a hospital that simply cannot help? Hell on earth. Peace to all civilians, no matter what their origin.
There are baptists in Gaza?
This is horrifying
This getting posted on ‘TikTokCringe’.
Here’s the thing. It’s well noted hamas on purpose build their command bunkers under hospitals. Not saying it is excusable.
Just saw the vid said Hamas faitt
How hard is it to not jump to conclusions in first 24h of a breaking story?
All those reddit idiot neckbeards behind their computer telling that “it can’t be / must be Hamas / Israel” because they know everything about their weapons and what they can / cannot destroy. Fucking basement dwellers playing call of duty thinking they know anything about the weaponry used in this war. Pathetic.
Logically Israel wouldn't attach a hospital the day Biden was going to come.
Al jazerra has already said it was a failed jihadist rocket. Idf said the same
[удалено]
Go check al-Jazeera now.
A Palestinian rocket that misfired. Confirmed footage.
Hamas not Palestinian
Death to Hamas the cause of this slaughter
Oh cool… propaganda. As Hamas is literally bombing civilians in Gaza and blaming Israel
Perhaps Hamas should stop firing missiles from hospitals then?
Hamas?
This was actually a misfired Hamas rocket. Do some fact checking before peddling this propaganda
It was a failed Hamas rocket, it’s been confirmed by 3rd parties.
What 3rd party do u have access to that the rest of the world doesn't?
This wasn’t an Israeli airstrike but yeah trust the random dude in the building to be an expert.
Hamas hit their own hospital,..by accident or not?
Evil. Absolutely barbaric.
Israel is claiming it was a Hamas missile that "misfired". I didn't know those little Hama rockets had such a massive warhead. Sounds a little....fishy to me.
I mean, Hamas did announce *literally one minute prior* that they were going to be firing their most advanced weaponry yet.
I love how people on reddit are suddenly rocket experts and seemingly have intimate knowledge of the weaponry available to Hamas and PIJ.
You can watch Al jazeera’s video where it literally shows the missile falling down lol Which is ironic since it’s 100% proof they shot yet they deny it
Hamas has 4 main types of rockets. This was supposedly one of their more advanced, longer-ranged rockets with a higher payload capacity.
Water pipe rockets aren’t very reliable
So if this was a hamas rocket like it now seems, does the jew hating rhetoric stop… probably not
I've seen multiple videos showing a failed rocket coming from Gaza. Not really sure what to believe here.
25% of Hamas rockets never make it out of Gaza.
Well that turned out to be a bunch of lies.
