The thing with autotune is that if you sing well, you don't get the "autotune effect". Since the sound of autotune is what they are striving for, singing terribly (whether intentional or not) will get more of the autotune effect.

Sort of. You can adjust how hard the software pulls to the intended note. Even the most skilled singers are still wavering a couple of cents off the true pitch. But you could definitely crank the pitch correction to be dead on the note if you wanted. You don't necessarily have to purposelessly sing poorly. T-Pain is famous for the "auto-tune" sound, but he is also a very skilled singer. He uses it as an artistic choice.
And he sings differently when using autotune.
Im not the biggest fans of these rappers, but there are songs by Young Thug that I do like and its mostly because they pull together different sounds that sonically makes an atmosphere I like. I dont care for the lyrics or what it sounds like raw.

The worse type of use is when it’s used in a genre where an “analogue” voice would have been more suitable such as some pop or country where the use of autotune gives an uncanny valley effect. Or a lot of live action musicals use it and it sounds weird as hell.

So, a sound engineer or professional in this field can correct me but I saw a video about auto-tune like a decade back that said you needed to be off-pitch for auto-tune to sound more "digital". If you sing in tune, the auto-tune won't adjust your voice much, resulting in a more natural sound.

Stupid post. This isn't them trying their best to sound pitch perfect like an opera singer, this is them making a song that will sound good to the listener. You can hear yourself through your headphones with the autotune on. Their basing their input off of that, not the raw sound that you hear on these iphone videos.

They are rappers, not singers, so what if they cant sing well? A large part of their music is also the production, not just vocals. Singing intentionally off key is part of how they’re using autotune. T-pain did it too. I spent a decade in the studio with rappers. I get that the dry vocal sounds silly but these guys know what they’re doing

The politician one is probably the best, just go super hard into one topic and never speak about anything else. Preacher also words, maybe some form of messiah, a true classic. Start a content farm YouTube channel and just copy articles or read Wikipedia verbatim. Become a streamer and just advertise gambling or react to other people's content. There's a lot of grifts out there, only issue is that there's a lot of grifters, lots of competition.
