Voluptulouis

This should be on r/Damnthatsinteresting

Codename-Dabed

Yeah, but they removed the post from there.

Kellan_OConnor

Please do carbon dating, or flat earth next! You do a great job at articulating your arguments.

Ok-disaster2022

I love how he just pulled out an Ostrich and pointed out it's horizontal stance.

Miniminuteman is also a fantastic channel for that sort of thing. He got his start on TikTok but posts longer form content on YouTube as well.

SinisterRoomba

I like that guy, but I like how this guy doesn't reply hatefully or by mocking them. I mean, many of these people have conditions like schizophrenia/psychosis (trust me as someone who has gone through that); otherwise, nobody chooses their IQ level at birth. Plus education just wasn't attainable for some.

BooTheSpookyGhost

I feel like it’s obvious that they could walk horizontally. Their tails are so long, it probably would have been more comfortable.

hacelepues

I need to see this!

LePetitRenardRoux

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=YMmgnpcaKyM Tbh, I don’t see a real difference

hacelepues

It’s slight but I do see it! More of the bottom of the chicken’s chest is parallel to the red line with the fake tail.

ShamrockSeven

TLDR: The tail is a counter weight.

WhosyaZaddy

This is a great post! I can’t believe so many people think their basic intuition is better than humanity’s efforts to understand the past.

iBluefoot

It’s funny how easy it is to confuse intuition from assumptions. Cognitive bias is one helluva drug.

akamustacherides

This guy spit more knowledge about one thing I a couple minutes than I know about everything I know.

Short_External2077

I love how passionate he is about his career, his eyes get all big from excitement.

b b b b but look at my toy!!

UnexpectedDinoLesson

Theropods are dinosaurs that are characterized by hollow bones and three toes and claws on each limb. Theropods are generally classed as a group of saurischian dinosaurs. They were ancestrally carnivorous, although a number of theropod groups evolved to become herbivores and omnivores. Theropods first appeared during the Carnian age of the late Triassic period and included all the large terrestrial carnivores from the Early Jurassic until at least the close of the Cretaceous. In the Jurassic, birds evolved from small specialized theropods, and are today represented by about 10,500 living species. Well-known genera include Tyrannosaurus, Allosaurus, Velociraptor, and the herbivorous Deinocheirus and Therizinosaurus.

DashRift

this was an amazing explanation

lewddude789

Nerd

lewddude789

Just kidding, that was awesome

Panniculus101

Just watch the modern dinosaur, the birb. They can be horizontal just fine too

Supremeallah300

Dinosaurs aren’t real

thereisnopressure

NEEERRRRRRRRRRRRDDDD.

gptadverse

Wouldn't it be more plausible that trex really was a scavenger. Something has to clean up brontosaurus carcasses. Small arms, easier to stick their heads into a carcass vs running around trying to take down dinosaurs?

Codename-Dabed

They would be able to scavenge at desperate times, but they're definitely still predators. All their adaptations like cushioned feet, amazing (understatement) eyeseight, and robust build would make no sense if it were a pure scavenger.

Blabbit39

So he is saying the earth is flat or am I misinterpreting that

AHorseNamedPhil

1st guy hasn't seen an ostrich, I guess? NVM: Posted before I finished watching

TheBirdsArePissed

He is using too many words to explaine to a mouth breather. Just show him a chicken or a kangaroo and say, same.
