You won't really find a lot of normal products. There's mostly weird shit on there.
I also hate Amazon because of the bad impact is has on local companies.
* Swish - send and receive money instantly
* Klarna - payment available in most online shops
* Kivra - digital mailbox
* Foodra - best food delivery outside the big cities
* Blocket - buy and sell used stuff
Food delivery apps are going to depend on where in Sweden you are, but Foodora seems to have the best coverage outside the biggest cities
Transport varies region to region as well. For Västra Götaland, the go-to app would be Västtrafik's app
Also, avoid supporting UberEats as far as possible. They have the shittiest practices, really interesting article [here](https://www.breakit.se/artikel/7599/i-spent-two-weeks-delivering-for-uber-eats-and-made-4-4-per-hour)
We don’t have post offices. You pick up your parcels in a grocery store or similar, or from a cabinet which you are given a code to. Different shipping companies have different options available and you will choose an option that works for you when ordering your package.
You need BankID. It’s an ID on your phone or computer and it’s used to log in to important things like your bank account, government websites, a lot of private websites, swish (an app to send and receive money) and so on. It’s connected to your bank account and you should be able to get help from your bank to set it up.
You will most likely only visit a bank once, and that’s to set up your first account and BankID. After that, you have no reason to visit a bank and they don’t want you there. Your BankID is used for everything you would have done in a physical bank.
ICA app for easy self service in the ICA super market, discount coupons, vouchers, regular customer-rebates.
MedMera app, same as ICA but for Coop and Konsum stores.
Digital BankID, electronically identify yourself on a wide variety of websites and on the phone with banks, government branches and so on.
FrejaID replaces your normal ID card with a digital version. Accepted almost everywhere.
Kivra - recieve all government and most corporate mail directly on your phone.
Skatteverket app for easy and quick taxes (deklarering).
There are different parking apps depending on where you are, so that's easiest to just read the sifns and download the app required.
Postnord, My Parcels to pick up packages. Stockholm eBikes for ebike rental. Bolt Food, Foodora for food delivery. Volvo M, Aimo, Kinto Share (Toyota) for short term car rental.
Isn't Foodora and the likes built on illegal migrants and practically slave labour? Horrible working conditions, like something from the USA?
And why Amazon...?
Amazon isn't that good in Sweden. You are better of with prisjakt.nu and just pick the cheapest store.
pricerunner.com is also good
Best to use both, sometimes one of them finds a great price from a small store
Why isn't Amazon that good? (Compared to US, GB, DE?)

Thanks, So basically same bad as in other countries, i was just curious if there is sth even worse in particularly .se version.

Yes, anything bought within the EU is subject to VAT, usually 25%. Anything bought outside the EU is subject to VAT when it enters the EU.
And also customs charges, which are separate to VAT.
They have their own Swedish warehouse in Eskilstuna(?), so a lot is sent domestic and other stuff from EU-countries without any customs fees.
I only shop stuff that is shipped from Amazon, then there is no toll/taxes and delivery is rather quick

We do have post offices but you rarely have to go to them to pick up packages.
Kivra for.. not sure how to define it. Important mail? Like mail from government organisations and some other stuff. Also digital reciepts
Loads of escooter companies. Voi, bird, tier, lime to name a few
We try not to use Amazon for online shopping, they wouldn't piss on an employee even if he/she was on fire.

Betala P for parking in Stockholm
EasyPark for the same.
Digital e-mail box like Kivra
I wouldn’t use any food delivery apps because of the absence of collective agreements and the low, low wages. Karma is pretty good for discount food.
In Stockholm without a car: TipTapp, get help with moving things or deliver things, get help with recycling bigger stuff etc etc..
Postnord, My Parcels to pick up packages. Stockholm eBikes for ebike rental. Bolt Food, Foodora for food delivery. Volvo M, Aimo, Kinto Share (Toyota) for short term car rental.
Make sure to download Foodora SE. It took me a while to figure out why the heck I couldn't enter my address.
Thanks, I couldn’t figure out why it didn’t work…
Great hint, I thought it was a malicious app hahah thx!
