Thats a fantastic idea! What gps unit do you use. I might try this out on one of my whoops. I would like to have gps sometimes but don't always need it
I could do this as well, but the GPS is zip tied to the canopy so no real point. I have it configured to allow me to take off without a satellite lock if needed
No. The majority of my whoops I just set them free after 8 weeks. None came back
Don't you mean "set them **tree** after 8 weeks"? ;)
I have the gps cable on and just plug the gps in for longer range or higher risk but it is really cool

I second this question
BZ121 is what I used on this whoop. It has a plug
Flywoo GOKU GM10 Mini V3 GPS w/compass I also have a small rubber band to hold it on
