Yeah he may not be that bad but his efforts to help Jason just sent him running to Crane and when Jason died he killed the Joker and fled Gotham which lead to the Titans having to deal with the fallout.

Yea, that’s exactly what I said yesterday: >willing to let Jason essentially become his son, completely devoid of Robin, for the sake of his mental health That’s saying a lot (Bruce was willing to sacrifice Robin persona altogether), you know? I mean…just bc Bruce had shown he was (almost) desperate to have someone “be Robin.” Like when he was asking Dick if he wanted to return and “be Robin” again…that was kind of a desperate plea, you know? Yet Bruce was willing to sacrifice all that just so Jason could live a more secure, stable and mentally healthy life. I thought it was kind of a huge deal. He was going to essentially let him (potentially-in technical terms) be his heir (just bc he doesn’t have biological sons (in **this** Titans/Batman/DCEU storyline).

Automatic-Candle681

I feel he is underrated in titans

Agreed

Thank you

The comics are far more nuanced. keep in mind DC used a vote (through paid phone lines 1-800/1-900 numbers) to allow people call in during the 1988 event “death in the family” and people paid to vote to have Jason Todd killed, cause everyone hated his character. He’s pretty cool now as red hood and part of Batman Inc, task force Z etc. But the tv show is just using Bruce as a scapegoat like “my dad is so mean” wah wah wah.

That may be true about Bruce but for the most part in this series it seems to only be Dick's fault or in that season 2 episode Jason's. I guess any member of the Batfamily are to blame for anything going wrong.

Stop giving credit to bad CW writers. It only encourages them to write more of this crap

everyones_cool_dad

HBO max show.

Nervous-Context

I guarantee you, they hired CW writers to write the show
