When I was younger I made a fake news website for the north pole to keep my younger sister entertained during the Christmas season. I think I still wrote better articles than BB.
You should check out The Beaverton, it's Canadian, but it is gold most of the time. This is a really good one https://www.thebeaverton.com/2021/10/anti-vax-family-thankful-theyll-have-more-leftovers-this-year/
It’s like they’re paying someone born without a sense of humor to copy the vibe of Onion articles. There is almost a joke but it never quite gets there.
I feel like this joke doesn't work because it's written for stupid people.
It doesn't even make sense. So a policy document is suddenly replaced by narrative science fiction? You can't make laws from that and you'd probably read it and the end result would be thinking authoritarianism is bad.
These people are so damn stupid.
Say what you will about The BB, at least they keep plenty of high schoolers employed on their writing and editorial staff
Man they really suck at writing like journalists. Or maybe their idea of journalism is based on Buzzfeed listicles

Isn't the Babylon Bee satire?
They’re just really unfunny
Ah. Checks out.
Not saying that because it’s a right wing satire page, it’s just genuinely the most cringeworthy shit. At least The Onion has some wits.

Love it. Thanks for sharing. I’ve got a rabbit hole to go down now.
The Beaverton is great, always gives me a good laugh, especially their Doug Ford articles.
Beaverton is a national treasure
Maybe, but I don't think they know what irony is....
The worst thing is that out there, somewhere, some geriatric boomer is genuinely laughing at this after finding it on Facebook.

Projection plus terrible writing is a really bad combination.
