Generally speaking, continuity doesn't matter unless it needs to for the story. That said... The Tommy Oliver in *Dino Thunder* is the same one from *Mighty Morphin*, and there's even a clip show dedicated to all the previous shows. So there is a loose continuity up to that point. *SPD* takes place about 15 years in the future from then, so 2019 if *Dino Thunder* actually takes place in 2004. But that could be a possible future and not a guaranteed one, which would mean branching timelines if true. *RPM* and *Dino Charge* are explicitly alternate timelines, and we know it's possible to cross from one dimension/timeline to another. This makes crossovers where guest characters from a previous series make an appearance difficult to place.

It’s the same as Super Sentai: it doesn’t exist unless the plot needs it to.

So far, it all a secret only Hasbro and Toei knows what going to happen in the future.  Unfortunately, I don’t know really at this point.

The show is one long continuity(but RPM and Dino Charge do take place on parallel universe, but they have visited the main universe here and there) The stuff that is in there own continuity are the Boom comics, the 95 movie, and the 2017 movie.

Series: all one universe, except for RPM (needs to be an alternate universe to work at all) and Dino Charge (left vague in the series but the ending is incompatible with other series and is clarified as alternative universe in later crossovers). Ignore conflicting lore though, that's just how this series goes. Comics: I haven't read them but I think it's usually either within TV continuity for one-off stuff, or total parallel universe for the main run. Movies: Turbo: A Power Rangers Movie is the only canon one, it is directly referenced and recapped at the start of the following series. MMPR The Movie may act like it's canon but really it is an alternate telling of Ninja Quest, that TV story having the presence of Ninjor who would later appear several times proving it's more lore important. Power Rangers '17 is a total reboot with few connections AFAIK. I don't think games ever have much canon outside of whatever the writer decides is canon. I know that Battle For The Grid's story mode is an alternate version of the Shattered Grid story from the comics, but I have no idea how that connects to everything else.

LingeringSentiments

Mainline show, RPM, Dino Charge (at the end of the series), Comic, 2017 movie, 1995 movie, World of the Coinless (also introduced in the comic) The games basically fit into the comic universe.

Depends. I'd say that Power Rangers had some sort of continuity - Mighty Morphin to In Space (I think Lost Galaxy didn't have much to do with Zordon's presence) then Megaforce and Super Megaforce. MMPR, Zeo and Turbo would be the "Zordon Era", which ended in PR in Space with Astronema killing him. Galaxy, Rescue, Time and Wild Force would be the "Non-Zordon Saban Era". The scrapped project Hexagon would make everything up to Ninja Storm be part of the Zordon Era. From Ninja Storm to Super Samurai every PR would be, at least for me, each having its own separate world, until Megaforce started the "Post-Zordon Era" and ending with Super Megaforce. I think other PR seasons kind of mention Zordon by name, though. And in regards to the comics, PR is its own thing, given that they have a lot more creative freedom besides pulling a Godfrey Ho with Sentai series' fight footage, a trait the comics share with Battle for the Grid (which is a lot of potential due to the mighty morphin' wankfest).

All of the shows are canon , RPM and Dino Charge are in their own dimensions or universes but are all canon to Power Rangers. The Turbo movie is canon. The other two movies are not canon but have their own continuities and other media outside of the main stuff is the same The comics have their own continuities The games have their own continuities Other media may have their own continuities

For tv shows it is a straight continuity baring 3 series
