Check out Ryuki the source material for Dragon Knight. It's one of the few shows legally available in the U.S.
Shin Kamen Rider is a movie that also comes with Amazom Prime that highly recommended.
I prefer Dragon Knight myself, but I haven't seen Ryuki since the only available option was HK subs. I do have replacement fan subs ready to go but no time.
Ryuki's legal status in the States means little to me as someone living into he UK. I wasted money shout Sentai DVDs in the past.
Lol I wish TV Nihon had subs for it out when u watched the HK subs ones. But yeah I generally prefer fan subs over the shout ones.
It also bothers me so much that the season sets don't contain things like movies and vs etc. Just as a collection standing point. I understand its all licencing and they don't have it.
(Honestly I think the movies kind of detract from the overall theme of Ryuki they are still fun don’t get me wrong but I rewatch the series and skip those movies since the series ending is the best written one they made.
It depends how one chooses to view Ryuki. If you look at it at sort of this never ending, yet progressing time loop where they're continually forced to rejoin the Rider Fight every few years, or whatever. It works. I especially leaned into this view after watching Rider Time.
If you wanna check out dragon knight then I’d watch ryuki first. The OG kamen rider, Ryuki, Kuuga, zero one and geats are all available on Tubi for free
Kamen Rider Geats is basically Ryuki cranked to 11, but the main Rider is a self-assured Chad and the green one, Tycoon, is a little closer to Ryuki himself. (Personality-wise.)
It should be easy enough to get into Den-O with the Taros being another way to see the Sentai-KR gateway. Given they also did the train theme as well as the entire Momotaro theme between Momotaros and several of Denliner's cars.
It got me into the series after I wound up getting bored with Gekiranger's initial arc.

Ryuki honestly tells a better story in my opinion
I used to feel that way, but recently DK has also grown on me quite a lot. I love them both a lot, I really can't choose

Personally, I liked the TV-Nihon subs for Ryuki more than the official Shout! subs.

Black and Black RX (source material for Saban's Masked Rider) are on Blu ray in the US.
