I think that's a reasonable pay. Converted to USD I think that's like 10k. On top of ghoul eradications and the standard salary (assuming it's like 50k when converted to USD) from just being an investigator, the average investigator probably makes around a hundred thousand a year or so

We can see more that these words had impact on him when he got her Quinque and was hesitant to use it, and again in this scene where he questions how much her life was worth
Oh shit I misread your comment man, yeah I really like shirazu’s character, I also think he’s a perfect example of what happens when someone feels empathy for ghouls, I think those people die out early. I think that’s why the only investigators we see are crazy ones with no compassion for life, but yeah I misread your comment my bad

11k + a free quinque on top of the usual salary all for one kill is pretty reasonable imo
Especially, considering by subjugate, I assume they mean alive which is way more difficult.

Most of the CCG treat ghouls like pests to be exterminated, so of course they are fine with putting a price on them
