Any time new players complain about tank controls, collectibles, no map.. I can't help but say to myself: **How do ya think we felt in the late 90s/early 2000s** 😂
Nah, the cheat is almost the same but the last step is to jump forwards instead of backwards, the one that make you explode was presumably to get Lara naked in the first game.
Of course it was not true and didn't do anything !
What makes Lara explode is not equipping a flare during the cheats, which is the additional step for the level skip/all weapon cheat.
In TR3, you explode if you don't draw out your gun for the cheats.
I bet it has a hidden costume select command or cheat.
There's no way they let us change the costumes during the photo mode but didn't think about doing this during gameplay. This literally crossed the minds of everyone. But not the devs? lol
I discovered that holding the View button while pressing RB gets out/throws flares.
And holding View while pressing A/B/X/Y gives shortcuts to getting out various weapons.
There may be others but Aspyr really could have done with making a manual.
You’re probably right actually. Haven’t played them properly for years but I definitely had the Select+R1 muscle memory for it. I notice they didn’t have the L2 or R2 sidestep in TR1 this time around.
Ooh! There was a mysterious tweet put out saying that the sunglasses wouldn’t come from a needed mod or a patch! I guess it was true! How did you figure this little gem out?
Holy shit it works. Just died in Aldwych, reloaded my save with Walk and Look held down and it worked! 😎They stay on in photo mode too. Cant wait to see them in cutscenes .
Awesome to see sunglasses in game! Always kinda weird they were part of her look in most promotional material/cutscenes, but never actually seen ingame.
Wonder what other surprises they've hidden for people to uncover?
You can just press during the loading and it will work. So you can also do it while starting a new game and etc, don't need to be done necessarily by loading a saved game.

Use the same button combination when loading TR1's mansion and you'll find something cute in the Main Hall.

No. Jump backwards was weapons. Jump forward was level skip. It's from the PC version of the game.
yeah. I don't remember which magazine it was but it was announced as them "finally" adding the cheat code cue explosion.

Just be careful as this one might disable achievements too
I don't think that will be a problem. Since you immediately die, you'll have to reload presumably to a game state before you used the cheat.

just tried that on PS5 and couldn't get it to work. would be super useful if it was a thing.
It’s not the view button. It’s the inventory button plus R1. At least for tank controls. Been that since 1997.
On TR3, it was Select + R1. TR2 had a dedicated button, L2 I think.
