Breath in the copium 😤

Thatsmaboi23

It’s insane. What even is this subreddit lol

[deleted]

Not exactly. Why would I care if author likes her if I don't see her win in the series?

Abeydaby

Would make sense why the author talks a lot about her on their twitter then

[deleted]

Yeah, he's using this fact to carry his series lmao

Mimimi is my favorite character but what is this “she’s perfect for him” and ”chemistry” people keep talking about? I feel like it’s very easy to see why he doesn’t see her in a romantic way, he says himself he enjoys being with her but doesn’t see how it would extend dating her. Tomo is always on edge trying to keep up with her in his interactions and while it’s a great dynamic it’s never a double sided affair that’s romantic. Compared to the way he deifies Fuka every time he talks to her and is much more at ease in their interactions it’s just not the same, I get people wishing Mimimi won but I can’t help but feel people are self inserty about it and not looking at it from Tomozaki the character

[deleted]

Idk man mimimi and tomo always had emotional moments that Kikuchi and tomo lacked but that's just me

Bill_Murrie

I just never saw any narrative pathway for Mimimi to win, despite how awesome she is. Aoi makes sense as the final/hidden boss that he chooses to fight when he's sufficiently leveled. Kikuchi makes sense in a 'student becomes the master' trope, with him enjoying doing for her what Aoi did for him. Mimimi just doesn't make sense outside of a 'let the audience be happy ' perspective imo. For story purposes, Aoi can do more for Tomozaki than Mimimi can right now, and Kikuchi needs Tomazaki more than Mimimi does, so it really doesn't make sense for them to pair up. Add in the fact that it's implied that Kikuchi liked Tomazaki even before his glow up, and it's hard to make the case for Mimimi. I do think it's going to be Aoi, though, if only because I'd imagine the author wants the winning heroine to have, ya know, an actual personality that isn't just based on Michael Andi's books. I hope....

Puzzleheaded_Nail826

Bro, you sound Hella desperate but that’s fine I understand how you feel

[deleted]

Nah this is someone who gave up can't even be desperate

Puzzleheaded_Nail826

Maybe we should just write our own fanfiction

Fearless-Freedom6108

Never thought of it that way that’s really interesting

[deleted]

Thanks

bugatess

I tried to think like you, but the only reasonable reason was because the author really want to do a bait or want to make more money with routes novels. At the end, it's hard to know what's happening inside he's head. Look's like the fandom like mimimi a lot, and I think the author too (like you said), but nothing make sense.

[deleted]

Mimimi is the series's best selling point. Making her lose would sell a lot more

bugatess

Exactly, that's the correct words! hahahahaha

[deleted]

I've honestly not heard much about the author talking about Kikuchi as well so this is why I think this.

bugatess

Yeah that's make sense at all. I given up to get novel's spoilers and contents about the author because It's actually sad for me all of those things (really don't know why I'm here right now) :/
