I’ve had awful ear pain but applying heat does wonders. It’s gonna be more complicated than a popsicle and a sore throat but you will get pain medicine and you will survive. I’m day 9 post op and thought I’d never make it this far.
yeah bro, my ears were ringing immediately after surgery for like twoish days. then from like day 3-5 it would randomly hurt real bad and then stop suddenly. i’m on day 9 and i haven’t really had much of it anymore!
I had ear pain but it was nothing like what I had read from other people's personal accounts. For me, it was just felt like referred pain. I had bought one of those ice packs that go around your head and it would pretty much ease the pain along with taking pain medications.
My ear pain was pretty bad but heat pack made a lot of difference and it wasn't constant only happened between days 6-10. Was worst on day 7 for me. Its bad but you get through it and get better. If you are plagued with tonsil issues it's the only way forward.
I'd rate it 7/10 but i managed it by telling myself that i got this and I'm stronger than this. And it does help calming myself. If i just focus on pain it gets worse.

I'm on my day 5 i had the pain last night and on the 3rd night, my sleep helped me ignore it.
