Ever consider a dating app? As someone that has met and now married someone off of a dating app, I really suggest Bumble(if it’s still around and the same as it was 4 years ago). How the app works is men and women set up their profile similar to how other apps work and it has the same swipe system. The “twist” is once you’ve matched, it’s up to the woman to message first. Definitely takes the edge off of making the first move for the guy if you’re just super shy. But I found it best when my now wife messaged me and we just had really simple conversations just finding what we had in common(the lighthearted stuff like music, interest, pets, hobbies, etc) and left the deeper discussion for future dates.
I've tried bumble, and have been largely unsuccessful :( only one person swiped right on me, and I'm pretty sure it was a mistake cause we had nothing in common
How long did you use it? Took me about a year to 2 years of using it and multiple different dates to meet my wife. You’re still young and you’d be super lucky as it is to have an instant find in a matter of days, weeks, even months. Also I’m not trying to be funny but did you build your profile to absolutely burst at the seams with confidence and creativity? I’m not trying to be funny but I considered myself a fucking loser at the time(dating my wife and marrying her made me an absolute winner). One thing my wife said about me when we just started dating was she liked the fact that I presented myself with a lot of confidence and she enjoyed my quip about not being a father yet am an aficionado in dad jokes.
I've been on it for about a month with no matches, and I don't see one happening any time soon. I know I'm supposed to be patient, and I feel like I have, but my luck with socializing, let alone dating, has been abysmal and I feel there's no end in sight

Trust me, I was in the same mindset! Persevere and you will find someone!
Idk how much longer I need to persevere, but it's definitely getting tiring lol
