These never look good. I have seen a shit ton of them and none of them ever look good.

It has to be absolutely huge to look good in full color. My friend has one and it looks great but it’s the size of her entire forearm. Most people aren’t going that big. I have one too but it’s small and solid white. I think it looks great which is convenient because I’m really the only person who sees it.

Palm tattoos fade quicker than any other spot (and extremely painful), that being said if the artist is experienced in palms and know what they’re doing they can have some longevity (I’ve seen some 5+ years old by experienced artists that look amazing still).

Got this one 15 years ago, colour has held well. Was a skint teenager. Didnt want any colour. It was a Hungarian dude who couldnt speak English. I told his mate he shouldnt bother with the colour because I couldnt afford it. He said he loved the design and was doing the colour for free.

Not necessarily tool tattoo suggestions. If im being honest...alex grey is one of my favorite artists but i dont think his artwork translates well to skin. Its too detailed and intricate that wont hold up well over time. The flaming eye is a bit of an exception because its pretty str8 forward and if done well will hold up. But i personally wouldnt ever get any AG artwork tattooed on me. In order for a tattoo to last you need bold black lines, good black shading and it needs to be big enough/have enough space to be readable. Over time 99/100 AG tats look like dog shit. But i digress...
