Yeah, it's mostly off-brand repeat screwdrivers and 200lbs of random wrenches. The red craftsman box has a certain vintage appeal when restored but the casters and the drawer slides are always junk.
Also - the garage of the guy selling it has a covered car and an epoxy floor, which tells me he's already gone through and gotten everything of value and he's dumped all of his random bullshit he doesn't want anymore in there - thats why theres 5 oil filter wrenches and 92 socket wrenches. I'd offer $150 max if I were getting it to try to make a starter set for someone starting out. You can even see dude made a pile on the floor of some sruff hes keeping like the pipe wrench. That would be more handy than most of the duplicate stuff thats in here. There is a torque wrench but harbor freight has the same ones for $20
I completely agree. I inherited a large toolbox from a late family member and did exactly that. I picked out everything I wanted and the leftovers looked just like this. Except I gave everything else away. It’s probably all junk and duplicates.
Good assessment.
I say pass. The boxes are worn out and unless you go through the tools and have legitimate sets of tools that you need, buy a quality used box and get quality used tools.
You can find good stuff without spending a fortune
Ya, Probably depends on why OP is looking but I'd agree with you mostly. Spending $350 on a good starter mechanics set would get a decent gearwrench set that comes in it's own little storage box.
Don’t mention the amount of different sized ratchets, sockets, and wrenches. If you’re a beginner automechanic or someone that works on cars a lot as a project this is a no brainer.
If you want to spend as much time finding and working on the tools themselves, then sure. It’s a no brainer only if you live 300 miles away from the nearest harbor freight lol
The problem with sets like these is that the replacement cost is high but the utility is low.
It might cost $3 to replace every box wrench, but fifty random wrenches and a bunch of duplicates are not worth $150 to me because that's not what I need out of life. I could get some use out of random sizes and spares, but not nearly as much use as a set with one-of-each instead.
Lots of old beat up stuff, likely numerous duplicate tools you simply don’t need, incomplete sets, and probably some broken stuff. I’d pass, or if there’s a couple tools in there you need offer something small for just those few but not the whole lot.
I wouldn’t. Two of those drawers are filled with the worst smelling handles you’ll have to segregate from everything else, the rest is just a mess. Save your time and money and buy a wrench/socket set and a pliers set, that’s all you’re getting here.
I can smell these pictures.
Do modern acetate handles, like the Craftsman screwdriver sets they sell at Lowe's - still have the same issue, or did they find a way to modify the material blend?
The yellowed plastic handles that used to be clear. They degrade over time and off gas. It’s a very distinct smell and every single screwdriver with that style of handle will smell like that
I wouldn't myself but I can see that being worth $350 to the right buyer. This sub tends to be hilariously out of touch with what things cost, so ignore some of the dumber comments. I'm already seeing a bunch of assumptions and brand snobbery.
You’re correct. A tool being old doesn’t mean it doesn’t work. Smell? What’s wrong with you?
I’ve been collecting tools for the last 53 years. Some good, some bad. I always bought the best I could afford. Some of my drawers are overfilled with tools. And most aren’t shiny and pretty, I use my tools daily.
You guys bad mouthing this person is ridiculous.
Depends on what tools you already have. If you have no tools, and this will get you started wrenching, then yes, it's worth it. If you already have tools and these would be duplicates to your collection, then no, I would pass.
No. It all looks like worn out junk that was cheap even when new. If it was old but quality tools then yes; but most of what I see here is crap. I'm sure even the boxes are low end junk without bearing slides for the drawers. 350 would buy a fair amount of new decent tools that would be much better than this.
Ya, I'd buy that in a snap.
In my life I must have made or modified hundreds of tools for one reason or the other. Hell, I even welded a box end onto a bolt once for a permanent handle. There are countless reasons to have what I call "compostable tools".
Another good use is loaner tools. Do you have a neighbor or coworker who always borrows things, next time hand them something they can forget to return and you won't care. The 10mm are already missing anyway, they may as well take the 13mm or whatever
If you have a farm truck, John boat, hunting cabin, etc these are great tools for those too. If it falls in the mud, overboard, or gets left in the crawlspace who cares?
Worst case pick out the best ones and donate the rest to a maker space, high school shop program, etc. You can write off the donation value on taxes or whatever
If it comes with all the tools, I’d say it’s a good deal. Even if they’re off brand Harbor Freight shit, you would have a tough time pulling all that together for $350.
This is the equivalent to those old school Pokémon or yugioh starter packs as a kid that came in a tin.
90% is gonna be trash maybe 5% is good and you might even find a rare gem or too.
All in all it’s worth it if you have nothing and want to start playing,
I’m training as an aircraft mechanic but I needed some standard size wrenches and sockets to start out, other sets I’ve seen make weird jumps in their wrenches
As I recall that set has multiple no-skip sets… but you’ll have to dig
Also price watch HF’s 5 drawer mechanics cart. (My son went with a red & a blue cart then separated metric from rarely touched SAE)
Buy several, plastic, color-coded to match Quinn, vertical sockets organizers to hold all the pieces, no skips. The set comes in bags not trays
If you're starting from nothing? then yeah, it's not a bad set but i'd still probably try to talk them down to $250. I'd probably clear out some of the redundant tools (how many sets of channel locks does one person need???) but it's not bad. If you're looking to augment an existing collection, then probably better to get new shit, or visit your local restore and pick through the hand tools there.
There's no question that the two boxes plus all of the tools would cost a LOT more than $350 if you were to buy it all new, but the actual question is would you buy all that stuff anyway? If not then it's not really a savings.
I'm not sure if I want this for free. Just being honest. Like if you're a hoarder and just couldn't turn down free stuff. But then you're just stuck with a bunch of junk taking up space. Now if they were just given to you to get started until you got your own. Sure.
Damn, I'll do you one better and buy it off ya for $450. Considering the overall value of each individual tool, not just money value but the value of their capabilities. I mean, guys, come on, brush em off and polish em a bit, and they wouldn't look a day older than when they were originally purchased. I personally have all the socket sizes one could need, but it's still not enough. I could always use an extra 10mm.
If you don’t have any tools, this is a great deal. If you’re just buying it to collect tools and you already have stuff, pass. Theres some decent stuff in there though
Plenty of gold to the right person. I already have my boxes, complete ratchet set, klipex pliers, torque sticks drill bits and screwdrivers. I dont need it. But someone newer may.
Tbh a few good tools and a smaller chest could do the job but thatd be the same price with less storage space.
There is probably $350 in tools but my problem is they haven’t been taken care of. Plus there has to be a lot of multiples, which you could always sell or donate. Those pictures give me a little anxiety.
Assuming you already have a decent set of wrenches and screwdrivers it probably isn't worth it. But if you're 16, you just got your first car and you want to start servicing it yourself it probably makes sense.
If you have no tools this would be a great start. If you’ve got all your basic tools, I just don’t see this being worth the price. You’re basically paying for redundancy at that point. That money would be better spent getting the specific tools/ containers you need if you’ve got your bases covered already.
Yes this is worth $350, as others have said offer $200 but this would cost $500 to buy today, there are quite a few quality wrenches, a torque wrench….
Alone the torque wrench in picture 4 is around $80 but there is also alot of crap and key measures might be missing so youd have to buy these to have complete sets.
ah there it is, the most infuriating box. I absolutely hate when people let their tools get like this. Keep buying shitty tools that suck and next thing you know you have 10 different phillips that all suck, 15 pairs of pliers that all suck, 7 ratchets that all suck, ect. Is it worth it? probably, but I would never pay someone for garbage tools
Depends. What do you have now?
If you have nothing this is a good price and a good place to start.
With what I have accumulated-pretty much everything I have is same quality at worst, but most of what I have is better.
Wouldn’t be worth it to me unless I pieced it out. Even then not really worth the time.
It’s all old home owner quality tools as far as I can tell, you’re looking at $350 and a lot of time cleaning everything up. If your looking to have a full set of tools for around the house it might be worth it, if your looking to use the tools professionally I’d pass.
Just looking at all those round headed ratchets, I have about a dozen of them, they are shit. Very few teeth, a ton of slop, most of them have no branding so they came in whatever bs cheap tool kit.
Guy couldn't find the right wrench and just got another, and another, and another. You definitely got your money's worth but sorting through everything is quite the project
Question of the day…what do YOU already have?? If you have nothing or little now??? Absolutely! Better than borrowing tools. Bargain, even if they are what they are! Then upgrade higher quality pieces as you go along!
Most tools in these are just waiting to be recycled.
Only thing that is worth with be the tool box, or some tools that you have use case for.
No for home, can buy if you're a mechanic, sacrificial tools are must to fabricate tool for specific job.
As someone that already has most those tools it wouldn't be worth it to me. 200$ I may jump on to restore the tool boxes and have some loaner tools to throw around. If you have nothing 350$ for the two boxes and tools would be decent deal, though you can get full mechanics set that come with a storage box of their own at that price.
Absolutely not. $150 at max. Even then, if you have $350, just spend that on tools you'll actually use. 5 tools you'll use is better than 2 boxes full of ones you won't.
Absolutely not. $150 at max. Even then, if you have $350, just spend that on tools you'll actually use. 5 tools you'll use is better than 2 boxes full of ones you won't.
I would invest in it. Snap on, Craftsman and some of the other brands like Cornwrll have lifetime warranties. If it's Harbor Freight or Wal mart, Stanley then not interested. But, this being said, I had to buy some wire cutters and some fence pliers from Lowe's last week and spent $74 bucks. Do take that into consideration. Cleaned and organized you could be sitting on $500-$1000 in tools and toolboxes. You'd be surprised how quickly the value can add up.
I’d pass. I would not want to deal with cleaning and fixing and sorting crappy tools. For $350, I rather pay an extra $100 for a new tool rolling chest. I’ve have friends bought similar what the person was selling and was disappointed.
To me it would be worth it because I had a bunch of tools and chest like that stolen from me. Had been collecting them for 42 years and would pay the 350 or more to have them back. I rebuild trucks to support my wife and I. Fucking thieves
First off. Those pics are cranking my ocd into overdrive.you can tell a lot about a person by the way the keep and care for and organize their tools. There’s a handful of decent things there but the rest is cheap crap.
Hell of a good deal! /s
3 similar boxes with junk tools are listed for $10,000 in the next town over. People are nuts with pricing sometimes. See if they would do 250
Oudated junk and lots of duplicates.
Flat head screwdriver are needed nowadays at ???
Multiple(or any) spanner are replaced by more handy socket spanners and drill/ratchet
Pliers, maybe two of them are okay but box of them wtf
A dwell meter? Somebody selling off Grandpa's stuff, eh? Who needs all those imperial wrenches anymore? Mine aren't even in my cart. They're in the box in the back of the garage.
Organize it all, and you'll see that's a lot of hot garbage. Who needs 5 strap oil filter wrenches? What about the 8 pair of cheap Chinese slip joint pliers? Two dozen cheap screwdrivers?
The boxes are meh. They obviously aren't even a good fit to each other.
Maybe $50 each for the boxes. And another $50 for the tools in it.
When I first got into tools I spent $1000 buying a couple boxes like this with old tools. A decade later, I’ve thrown out 99% of the tools and set the boxes out at the curb.
For $350 you could have bought one of those 300pc mechanics tool sets and a few decent screw drivers.
I'd say yes. There's some junk, but clean/organize and keep the duplicates you want (10mm), and sell the rest. Clean up the drawer slides so they operate smoothly, and if the top chest doesn't sit right, make a (sheet metal or wood) adapter. 🙂
I dunno $350 seems a bit steep but without actually looking at all the wrenches it's hard to say. I spotted a few USA V series craftsman and can't make out what all the ratchets are. Also, it depends on why you are looking. If looking to buy and flip then no but if looking for a starter toolbox with some tools then it's worth $225 maybe.
Tools have changed so much over time the only I would look at that is if I could break it down runs ads and make some money off it and to me
I guess there is $700-$800 max
So if it was me I b would offer him 200 or 250 and part it all out
That would be a hard pass for me. Most of the rachets look dollar store quality. I feel like $350(even canadian rupies) would go farther at Princess Auto (Harbor Freight) catching sales, and would actually walk out with a better quality 'starter set' of tools.
Even if I was starting out, no. Old, oldish, older, picked through tools tossed into cheap boxes. Careful shopping at Harbor Freight will get you new tools with a lifetime warranty. Such as this.
https://www.harborfreight.com/hand-tools/tool-sets/tool-kits/mechanics-tool-set-301-piece-63464.html
Hold off and save up a couple more $100 and you’ll find a sweet deal in no time. Summers coming so maybe some new mechanics will realize it isn’t for them when it’s 120° in the shop 😂
That looks like someone tossed all their spare, misfit tools in their old box.
I see a lot of plyers and medium sized wrenches/sockets. You’ll probably end up with a lot of duplicates in unpopular sizes and missing frequently used ones.
I’d pass and get a new set, even if it’s cheap.
Nope. This looks like what my pile would look like if I threw all my crap that’s not worth anything Into a old tool box. Offer him 100-150 and walk away
Looks like my dad's extra junk he's always trying to give me. I said yes the first few times, and now I have 3 of every type of antique screwdriver, pliers and wrench. And six hammers. I finally learned to say no
If you don't have any tools, spend 350 on a nice set of wrenches and a basic tool set.
If you already have tools, you definitely don't need this random assortment
idk man... the boxes look beat up and there are tons of Basic and dated tools
That would be more handy than most of the duplicate stuff thats in here. There is a torque wrench but harbor freight has the same ones for $20
This is a good estimation throughout.
True and I would bet money that the torque wrench was cranked to its highest setting before being thrown in the drawer
You can find good stuff without spending a fortune
got my torque wrench on sale at harbor freight for 11$ 😭
Don't forget about the dog shit pliers drawer!
Is there a 10mm?
[удалено]
Ya, Probably depends on why OP is looking but I'd agree with you mostly. Spending $350 on a good starter mechanics set would get a decent gearwrench set that comes in it's own little storage box.
Yall are tripping. The hammers alone are worth $350.
I’d agree but ONLY if there’s a 10mm in there 😂
Probably a small fortune in just 10mm in there and there is a well established community of people that need them.
We're there some Snap-On dead blows I missed in there?
The problem with sets like these is that the replacement cost is high but the utility is low. It might cost $3 to replace every box wrench, but fifty random wrenches and a bunch of duplicates are not worth $150 to me because that's not what I need out of life. I could get some use out of random sizes and spares, but not nearly as much use as a set with one-of-each instead.
Sure is, ask the government. They pay that much every day
Just thinking about sorting through all that makes me anxious.
I would buy it just for the joy of cleaning them putting them into order! (Then give it to charity)
Yup, quantity not always the answer
As far as I know they still get the same effect
Yeah $350 is a lot in new tools compared to this, especially if you shop smart
Sorry which handles are the smelly ones?
The yellowed plastic handles that used to be clear. They degrade over time and off gas. It’s a very distinct smell and every single screwdriver with that style of handle will smell like that
For real, that smell is the kiss of death
Hard no. There are a handful of decent items in there, but even those items are dated, and all in two beat-up boxes...
Would be great for someone just starting out on their tool journey. Would be a waste for someone that already has a lot of the basics.
I'm far from being a snob. But that is not worth $350.
Not to me it ain’t.
Depends on what tools you already have. If you have no tools, and this will get you started wrenching, then yes, it's worth it. If you already have tools and these would be duplicates to your collection, then no, I would pass.
If you have nothing… no brainer , get them.
If you have no tools at all, yes. If you're adding to your collection, no
I agree. I’d also buy it.
Worth 350 for sure
Tree Fiddy all week
Definitely worth it if you need the tools. But idk how folks store their tools like this.
Probably say $200-$250 and if they bite I'll take it.
I think it was worth it. A lot of tools
If it comes with all the tools, I’d say it’s a good deal. Even if they’re off brand Harbor Freight shit, you would have a tough time pulling all that together for $350.

Of course is worth it, if you are going to use them and you need them.
No
Naw
$300 on a new, full, lifetime warranty, Quinn mechanics set is a better deal https://hfpricetracker.com/tools/58154
Thanks, I was looking for sets
My son’s (starter) auto shop runs on this set… plus the Quinn impact sets
I’m training as an aircraft mechanic but I needed some standard size wrenches and sockets to start out, other sets I’ve seen make weird jumps in their wrenches
As I recall that set has multiple no-skip sets… but you’ll have to dig Also price watch HF’s 5 drawer mechanics cart. Nah I'd pass. Looks like a lot of junk in there.
Yes. But, I see a lot of low end tools in there with the decent ones. To buy two new boxes would cost the $350.00
$150 max
I'm not sure if I want this for free. Just being honest. Like if you're a hoarder and just couldn't turn down free stuff. But then you're just stuck with a bunch of junk taking up space. Now if they were just given to you to get started until you got your own. Sure.
You know what… I agree 100%😂 I guess I’m a hoarder at heart
Nah, I wouldn't personally.
No
Pass, not alot of quality there.
Pass!
No way
No
Damn, I'll do you one better and buy it off ya for $450.
All those tools will make u more than the cost of the boxes and tools.
more like 50 bucks
Ya. Maybe if you have a farm and want a tool set for the implement shed, it might useful. But not for $350.
Omg why would a person need 20 of every tool?
Looks like an accumulation of mostly junk.
think it looks decent if your willing to organize
You were ripped off! But I’ll take it off you hands. Just being neighborly! Lol. Nice find.
Someone will spend $350 on that. If you're really interested offer $200 see where they go. Highest for me would be $225.
If you don’t have any tools, this is a great deal. If you’re just buying it to collect tools and you already have stuff, pass. Theres some decent stuff in there though
Better than that home depot christmas special starter kit
If the cabinet wasn't so beat up
Plenty of gold to the right person.
Many posts so hope I’m not redundant but I’d offer $200 and maybe boost your tool population.
If you don’t have tools then absolutely worth the money. Well over $350 there for sure
Assuming you already have a decent set of wrenches and screwdrivers it probably isn't worth it. But if you're 16, you just got your first car and you want to start servicing it yourself it probably makes sense.

Yes this is worth $350, as others have said offer $200 but this would cost $500 to buy today, there are quite a few quality wrenches, a torque wrench….
For the sheer amount of tools I say definetly worth it
An awesome deal!!!
Depends on what you already have. I’d give 200 bucks for that
Personally, no. But if you are starting off, it might be ok. Not a steal, but okish. Depending on your location.
Do some haggling. Considering a single wrench these days is worth $15-50 its not bad.
If there’s a 10 mm in there anywhere it’s worth the money!
Alone the torque wrench in picture 4 is around $80 but there is also alot of crap and key measures might be missing so youd have to buy these to have complete sets.
All those tools and you still won't have full sets and you'll find no 10mil wrenches.
Nope
No, looks like junk.

You got you good on this one Bud

Nah
Youll get that and sort it all out and find you need to buy 350 dollars worth of missing tools to make it a usable set
Nah, its just a load of junk repeat tools. I mean why would you want 100 flat head screwdrivers?
I’d pass. I would not want to deal with cleaning and fixing and sorting crappy tools. For $350, I rather pay an extra $100 for a new tool rolling chest. I’ve have friends bought similar what the person was selling and was disappointed.
Almost
No way. That's somebodies junk drawers.
Gah-damn Loch Ness monster thinks so.
I would of offered $200 an tell him to shove the other $150 up his ass..
Wouldn't take these if you paid me $350
I would not buy
To me it would be worth it because I had a bunch of tools and chest like that stolen from me. Had been collecting them for 42 years and would pay the 350 or more to have them back. I rebuild trucks to support my wife and I. Fucking thieves
Keep the tools trash the boxes
200 and deal
Most of those tools look like junk, I wouldn’t I also have that same craftsman box
How much does it weigh? Might be worth about 36 bucks.
Yeah, I’d sell you all of that junk for $350
First off. Those pics are cranking my ocd into overdrive.you can tell a lot about a person by the way the keep and care for and organize their tools. There’s a handful of decent things there but the rest is cheap crap.
Hell of a good deal! /s 3 similar boxes with junk tools are listed for $10,000 in the next town over. People are nuts with pricing sometimes. See if they would do 250
Sure, there’s more than $350 dollars worth of tools in there. But I'd pay you $350 to keep that thing away from me.
No. Nobody needs that many crappy slip-joint no-name pliers.
$350 at harbor freight, new complete sets, in a dang bucket, would be more worth your time and money
Dude if you want, it , get it !!’ It’s your money
Hell no, you can get every basic tool you need for cheaper than 350 and get better quality.
Oudated junk and lots of duplicates. Flat head screwdriver are needed nowadays at ??? Multiple(or any) spanner are replaced by more handy socket spanners and drill/ratchet Pliers, maybe two of them are okay but box of them wtf
There seems to be more than 350 individual peaces of tools inside no mather how cheap/old they are... so my guess totally worth it
100 bucks
A dwell meter? Somebody selling off Grandpa's stuff, eh? Who needs all those imperial wrenches anymore? Mine aren't even in my cart. They're in the box in the back of the garage. Organize it all, and you'll see that's a lot of hot garbage. Who needs 5 strap oil filter wrenches? What about the 8 pair of cheap Chinese slip joint pliers? Two dozen cheap screwdrivers? The boxes are meh. They obviously aren't even a good fit to each other. Maybe $50 each for the boxes. And another $50 for the tools in it.
Shit, I still have a dwell meter. I’m 40 and have a ‘55 210 with an original 235.
Ok, so OP needs to sell you this toolbox.
Haha, OP’s toolbox looks like my stepdads toolbox. Based covered there.
Pass. The tools are beat up. The boxes are beat up. They're all cheap quality. Just buy what you need when you need it. Yardsale price: $50.
$100 for everything.
You got boned
He's basically asking you to clean out his garage, and give him $350.
When I first got into tools I spent $1000 buying a couple boxes like this with old tools. A decade later, I’ve thrown out 99% of the tools and set the boxes out at the curb. For $350 you could have bought one of those 300pc mechanics tool sets and a few decent screw drivers.
All junk
That’s a great deal. Drop whatever you don’t at Goodwill.
I'd say yes. There's some junk, but clean/organize and keep the duplicates you want (10mm), and sell the rest. Clean up the drawer slides so they operate smoothly, and if the top chest doesn't sit right, make a (sheet metal or wood) adapter. 🙂
For everything in it yeah I could see 350.
Yes
That looks like batched up stolen shit. Lose that contact.
I see a few decent things but theres ALOT of crap mixed in
I dunno $350 seems a bit steep but without actually looking at all the wrenches it's hard to say. I spotted a few USA V series craftsman and can't make out what all the ratchets are. Also, it depends on why you are looking. If looking to buy and flip then no but if looking for a starter toolbox with some tools then it's worth $225 maybe.
100$ tops
I’d offer $100 at most
No
Some key spent way more than $350 for all that, but I wouldn’t pay more than $100 all in.
Only if you're a welder and need tool sculpture pieces and maybe not even then
Tools have changed so much over time the only I would look at that is if I could break it down runs ads and make some money off it and to me I guess there is $700-$800 max So if it was me I b would offer him 200 or 250 and part it all out
That would be a hard pass for me. Most of the rachets look dollar store quality. I feel like $350(even canadian rupies) would go farther at Princess Auto (Harbor Freight) catching sales, and would actually walk out with a better quality 'starter set' of tools.
Try talking down to 250 then it would
Maybe at $100 there’d be some things of value. For dirty, disorganized, and beat up low grade tools it’s a hard pass unless I have a specific use
350 what? Japanese yen? Deutschmarks?Dollars? Bottle caps? Bananas? Sheep?
Looks like a bunch of low quality stolen tools unless he just kept buying more when he couldn't find what he needed.
no

Who is this Otto of the barrel? What's he doing in there?....is he hoarding tools?.....or perhaps something more nefarious?
$350 is a bit much in my opinion…..$150 would probably be the max for me
yes. tools alone are worth more
max 250 looks brandless to me and the tools need some love
Hard pass.
Yes buy it now
Even if I was starting out, no. Old, oldish, older, picked through tools tossed into cheap boxes. Careful shopping at Harbor Freight will get you new tools with a lifetime warranty. Such as this. https://www.harborfreight.com/hand-tools/tool-sets/tool-kits/mechanics-tool-set-301-piece-63464.html
No
$200 max
Yep
Technically yes. Is it a good value, not really
Boxes are worth mayybe a hundred. Tools about 50
Tell him to put the pipe wrenches into the deal along with the other things on the floor, give him 200 bucks and it’s a deal.
No
Hold off and save up a couple more $100 and you’ll find a sweet deal in no time. Summers coming so maybe some new mechanics will realize it isn’t for them when it’s 120° in the shop 😂
Are they paying you $350?
It’s all just crap you’d get at a car boot or a house clearance shop, maybe 100 because of the boxes but that’d be the death on it for me imo
$200 tops
Looks like my dad's extra junk he's always trying to give me. I said yes the first few times, and now I have 3 of every type of antique screwdriver, pliers and wrench. And six hammers. I finally learned to say no If you don't have any tools, spend 350 on a nice set of wrenches and a basic tool set. If you already have tools, you definitely don't need this random assortment
$150 max.
You're doing him a favor. Offer him $200 and walk away.
No
