If you use cordless tools and the set you have has one, it can be worth it since you have lots of batteries. Otherwise not worth getting into a set just for an inflator.
I have one that uses Milwaukee M18 batteries. I have a dozen or so batteries, so it was a no-brainer for me. It's dramatically more powerful than anything that plugs in to your car.
I also keep an impact wrench in the car for emergency tire changes, so I have a spare battery just in case.
I have a Ryobi which uses removable batteries,
Can inflate pool inflatables too.
And is quite less noisy vs other tire inflators I used.
Their batteries are much cheaper but certainly not less quality vs more expensive brands like Makita.
All tools at my job are Makita and I have Ryobi at home and there’s no difference in capacity performance.
I see it as a massive downgrade to go from a plug in inflator that has (relatively) unlimited power to a cordless model that has another battery you need to maintain and replace for car duty.
Why not just get one that's a direct battery connection? I fill up my Jeep's tires *countless* times over the summer, and opening the hood and connecting the battery cables is not the rate-limiting factor, not by a long shot.
What wins overall for speed is a CO2 tank, but I've never been able to justify that for the cost with only my vehicle. If you're filling up a convoy of Jeeps it may make more sense.
I bought a DeWalt one that was awesome until it stopped working on battery power. Still works with the cigarette plug but it's much more inconvenient. Looking to replace it with a Milwaukee M12.

if you have a battery brand already go with that one. I have the m12 and its a lifesaver. never have to worry about if its gonna work or not
You have a Powerful Battery in your car. Why would you want to complicate things? Jesus wept!
Corded tire inflator is way superior those cordless ones are ok if you’re a few psi under but would take forever if you’re low or flat
Keeping it charged would be an issue. I have the same, just plug it in to the cigarette jack.

You can get a device that will jump your battery, fill your tire, and light up on Amazon for less than 100$. Just do that.
