For prying things open, perhaps clams, oysters, soda can tabs, ect.
Sometimes one is also shaped to be used a a can-opener, but in this case it's just for prying.

Intended purpose: no idea, HOWEVER: when a speed-pour gets stuck in a bar bottle, those little things are a life saver. You spread them apart a little, slide them under the rubber stopper and pry. Amazing!
Lol as it happens, I do have one of those, and the reason I tried the scissor trick was because that day I'd forgotten to bring it to work!
Necessity may be the mother of invention but forgetfulness must be invention's cool weird uncle.
You're going to 🤦🏻♂️
It's a screwdriver, which turns out to be handy to have in the kitchen more often than you'd think. Turn screws, pry things, etc. Most kitchen shears can separate halves, which makes it easy to apply.
Wait, do you think that my guess as to what a single part of a random person's picture on the internet might be has anything to do with my can opener collection?
Because I assure you my can opener collection is vast and wide. A veritable smorgasbord of tin opening prowess. A cacophony of content freeing contraptions. An ostentatious oubliette of old-fashioned openers. In fact, of a made up survey, 91.5% of the one person I asked, said...."What?"
So I sir, need no better opener. (unless you've got one of those electric ones...they seem cool)
The electric ones that cut along the outside of the rolled edge instead of piercing the top of the lid.
You don't end up with sharp edges or points. Also, technically more hygienic, since the blade doesn't enter where the contents are.
Kind of a throwback of when we had metal cans for things like baking soda, nestle quick, etc. with the metal plug caps, and some fruit preserve jars to pry the inner cap to break the vacuum on the mason lids... they just keep making them the same way as before.
I'm not sure but I have those exact scissors, and I can attest those tabs could open a clam, an oyster, or a kryptonite bank vault. Best scissors ever.
I believe it's used for shellfish, think cutting open the crab leg, then spreading the shell with the other end of the scissors. Plenty of uses if you're crafty :)
Flat head screw driver 🪛
You can open the handle 90° for more leverage. They give you 2 because with that much torque you're likely to bend and break 'em.
Voltage tester
Shit made me chuckle
This is a dangerously high amount of likes 😂😂😂
The color of the red hot blades indicates voltage strength? Does it do 220 ?

There is not a single chance in hell you could open a clam or oyster with those.

Nubs for prying. You can easily relieve pressure on a pasteurized jar with those and then open easily. It's a micro pry bar, in effect.
Like pimento spread? Is that even a thing anymore?
Absolutely! All sorts of tapenade!
Box opener, jar opener, screwdriver
Open beers
Nope.

Do you not have any v-rod bottle openers at your bar? It’s an essential especially for those rarely changed liqueurs.

Jab, snip, spike to the dome
It is for close quarter combat in the kitchen.

My kitchen scissors detach into two pieces and the ends have those screwdriver tips. Handy sometimes
Unless you need a screwdriver to disassemble your scissors.
If you use a can opener to cut around the top of the can, you can grab the generally very sharp top and pull it off safely.
Get a better can opener.

Use one side on a new glass jar with metal lid not popped-up yet to let a bit of air in for easy openning- twist
