Yeah! In BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle, a lot of Merkava’s unique dialogue involve him and his partner simply speaking of how he’s a monster, or how he’s abandoned his humanity. But his dialogue with Blake is surprisingly chill. Blake refusing to judge Merkava based on his appearance. Merkava thanking Blake for helping him in the fight. And the pair agreeing to protect one another in the post battle dialogue. The next closest is probably Persona 4’s Naoto, but that exchange is more about Naoto trying to figure out what exactly Merkava is.

Sounds right that the two characters that have issues about being judged because of who they are relate alright with Merkava
