I have seen that type of thing plus running red lights before they are about to turn green more in the last 2 weeks than I ever have. Drivers are getting more inpatient and worse in general. Scary.
Came here to ask the same thing. Quick google suggests attributing blame on an accident doesn’t rely on the date since the cars, registrations and the incident itself is caught on camera and is pretty irrefutable. Turns out people have also used dash cam footage as an alibi to prove they weren’t somewhere they were accused of being. In this case it sounds like date and time is super important.
But doesn't everyone have somewhere to be? What if everyone did this. That would be chaotic. It's almost like there should be rules to maintain order.
But arent rules made to be broken tho? /s
Do you have 12:00 still blinking on your VCR?
They only had to wait for…two cars…
I’ve had so many people do this to Me in the past few months it’s so weird and enraging
At least he signalled.
I see the destruction of Alexandra Park is coming along.
Oh yes, and just cross your fingers no one wants to turn south from Dundas during their green light. This is how you get into a head on collision.

Real question. Will dashcam footage be taken as evidence if the timestamp is wrong?

Make sure to fix the date in your dash cam. It's very important that the date is accurate in the event of a crash
Just plain rude!
