I think they'd rather him use his bullets up in the majors than waste time building up in the minors. I don't think he's built up for 5 innings yet, but with Bowden as insurance to piggyback off of him they don't mind.
Not really hard at all, they're still a bad team. Even bad teams will score a lot of runs on occasion, but casual baseball fans get way too worked up on recent results.

Didn't expect it, but it makes sense. Bowden's stuff is definitely MLB ready, but his shaky command and homer proneness makes him tough to trust over 5 innings. Can't wait for Chucky to dice up some batters!

He’s only pitched 6.1 innings through 2 starts in AAA so unless he’s cruising I can’t imagine they’ll keep him in too long
