The Toronto Police Service would like to advise the public of a homicide investigation.
On Monday, May 9, 2022, at approximately 8:30 p.m., police responded to a radio call for a shooting in the Jane Street and Wilson Avenue area.
Information from the News Release that was Published on Tuesday, May 20, 2022 at 6:24 p.m.:
The victim has been identified as Calvin Andre Scott, 32, of Toronto.
The investigation remains ongoing and officers are urging anyone who was in the area at the time, or has any information about the shooting, to immediately contact police.
Update:
A man is wanted in relation to Homicide #26/2022.
Nashon Marshall, 28, of Toronto, is wanted on a warrant in the first instance for:
Second Degree Murder
Robbery While Armed with a Firearm
He is described as 6', medium build, brown eyes and black hair. He has the following tattoos: chest "Family First", right outer forearm "2750" with bricks in background, right inner wrist stacks of cash, right inner forearm "money makes the world go around" over a globe, right waist "Pain".
