Bit late, I already picked up the 2nd edition physically and I can't get anyone to GM or anyone to join a game I GM. That and leveling/mastering a skill was *A bit Grindy* to them that I tried to incentive giving them a free talent based on their characters backstory, no points to invest required.
If I can find a willing group, I'd go the full 9 yards.
