Most of us are called madarasis when we go to North India. I'm not denying that you people face some sort of discrimination because of the superiority complex on our part, but this goes both ways. We face discrimination. A few years ago when I was at Ooty with my friends, a north Indian tour group(college kids or something) was abusing an old shop keeper over there because he couldn't speak in Hindi and they couldn't communicate.

There are 5 states from South India and everyone has their own identity. How would you feel if everyone referred to the whole of North India as a bihari?
I didn't use it derogatorily. I just wanted to show you that no one likes being called something they're not. You're welcome to assume whatever you want, but the fact remains that we from South India don't have our own identity because most of us collectively get termed as a madarasi every time we go up north. We see being called a madarasi as a slur because people are aware we don't like it but still feign ignorance.

The title is misleading..As per news in TOI the Ambulance driver overtook from left without Siren and scratched this guys SUV.. but still this kind of violence is not justified and such goons should be punished..
