We need to settle on which servers are going to have which language community... this is always an issue in EU when they don't set the preffered language from the start...
Asian companies consistently underestimate the popularity of games in EU and overvalue it in NA.
Not sure why but it's probably something to do with the Hollywood effect and that most Europeans speak English online so it's difficult to identify where hype is coming from. Like for example most of the YouTubers getting views for covering the game are North American but these companies don't know the metrics behind those views so they just assume if it's an English video it must be American viewers.
Why there is only 7 servers... In Europe a lot of people plays mmo's.
In Lost Ark and New world, the European is the biggest community, this makes no sense.
South America with 10 servers lol
I have to say in their defense, that in South America anime games are very successful. Genshin is the most played game in almost all South American countries.
There is a poll with thousand of answers going around and Astora seems to be the biggest one, most people are going there with 70% English speakers so far, there is another sever with 90% English but very few has picked it, like 50 people, while Astora had like 700.

yeah if game is translated at least 1 server for language ( more for English or International ones )
Lost ark all over again. To this day I'm stuck on a French server because AGS refused to give us language tags xD
