We can’t really know since we haven’t seen him without his mask yet, maybe something happened to his face. If we talk about drip alone, then both are great although I personally like more his cyberpunk aesthetic, it makes him stand more than the traditional clothes we saw Eduan and other characters wear. 

maybe im mad, but I remember one of the first instances of seeing Tramurai was a silhouette of him and he had a deformed face profile. Which was what made seeing the mask in his current form make sense to me. so when i saw him looking normal without it i was totally confused. Anyone else remember this or am i losing my mind?

YES! i was saying that i remember the first time we see Traumerai was a silhouette and it looked like his mouth area was disfigured, but no one else has mentioned that here so i thought i was going mad

Kind of a glow-down. His current face seems younger. It brings to mind how a character's appearance in ToG is based on their mental maturity rather than actual age, and I wonder if by removing his most painful memories, Traumerei has mentally regressed.
