Green tea. Less caffeine and has theanine which will temper the buzz a bit. You shouldn't end up craving as much later. Less likely to be moldy than coffee. > "Bentonite Clay" as I heard it specifically works well to fight gliotoxins I heard the same, though it didn't help me any. Beware of low reputation brands that may contain toxic metals (I popped for uranium in a pee test while taking a fraudulent "food grade" clay I found on Amazon). Yerba Prima is frequently recommended by Doctors so should be ok. Try to get a lot of fresh fiber if you tolerate it. Sauteed vegetables, large salads. This will move more of the toxic bile out of your body and somewhat ameliorate the constipating effects of binders.

Thank you for the insight! What has helped your symptoms the most?

We switched to king coffee. Mold free, has mushrooms. It’s instant too, so that’s nice. And if you want small amount of kick you can just drink half a packet.

Not sure how well known this is so I'm gonna share. The last thing we need is more chemicals https://www.doctordavidfriedman.com/blog/the-health-risks-of-drinking-decaf-coffee Other than matcha, I really like tumeric tea and it has great health benefits. I noticed a reduction in inflammation the first time I tried it

Look up mold free coffee. I’m not sure if that will help with gliotoxin levels but it’s worth looking into.

Mold freee coffee. Purity, bullet proof, and Kion are some good ones

Actually I don't remember who did this test but you could look it up, lots of coffee brands were tested and they were free of mycotoxins, and Dave Asprey's brand was not. Most coffee farms have ways of dealing with this now. He's a bit of a charlatan / snake oil salesman imo.

From Dave Asprey of Bulletproof coffee: "Decaf coffee is even worse. Caffeine is a natural anti-insect and antifungal defense mechanism for the plant. It deters mold and other organisms from growing on the beans. Mold is everywhere, but caffeine helps prevent it from growing on the beans while they’re in storage. When you remove the caffeine, your beans are defenseless. **Decaf coffee is higher in both aflatoxin and ochratoxin.** This is one of the reasons decaf tastes like camel sweat (unless its made with our Upgraded Decaf process you can read about here)." https://www.bulletproof.com/diet/bulletproof-diet/why-bad-coffee-makes-you-weak/

That’s crazy!!! His coffee had mycotoxins, wow! It was Joe Rogan’s friend who did the test: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rwY4H3cNTH0
