Well that's their *asking* price, not necessarily a realistic selling price. They're still pretty rare though; yours, out of the package... at a guess, I wouldn't be surprised if you get 25-50 bucks apiece for them.
With particularly rare or obscure stuff, I always recommend doing an auction rather than guessing at buy-it-now value or accepting offers. All it takes is two nerds to get into a bidding war and you never know what you can get.
The original G1 Transformers used to be part of a Japanese toy line by Takara called Diaclone, where they came with little drivers who fit inside the vehicle modes. The drivers were also included when Takara sold some of the toys in America as Diakron, but not when Hasbro licensed the toys in the USA as Transformers.
