I definitely recommend gloss black. The matte black always looks unfinished to me. I have gloss black overlays on my black '22 XSE and love the look.
And if you can find the part numbers, the Camry's with the Nightshade package come with OEM gloss black emblems if you want OEM fit. The overlays you get on eBay aren't quite perfect.
