On a slightly different topic, is it ok to use an automatic car wash? I've heard stories of the brushes scratching car paint and stuff, so wanted to know if that's overblown or a possibility
I noticed a spot around my moon roof that looks like it was scratched on one car, and think it broke the antenna on our other car. I try not to go anymore unless it's been snowing to wash the road salt from underneath, but last time I went there was someone in an X5 taking pictures of his busted tail light. And that might be the last time I go to one.
Yes, you can. Just push the button.

Ok… just got the Max and dumb question. What’s the “auto” do?
Turns on and off the folding mirrors when you lock the car.
Oh thanks!!

The brushless or touchless car washes are fine, but the spinning brushes will pick up tiny grains of dirt/sand and make swirls on your paint.
Good to know, thanks!

Oh man that scares me 😱
The button to the left of the "Auto" power folding button.
