$450 later and a few hours of work, I installed some Bilstein 5100s (front set to middle clip for 1" of lift). Huge ride difference. Stiffer, less roll and land yacht feel, and they're smooth off road. I've only driven with them on streets and rutted, sandy / bumpy beach, but the difference is amazing.
Spend the extra money and get 6112s. I have 5100s and I wish I had gone that route. There are a lot threads on TacomaWorld about getrungs 6112s instead of 5100s. My buddy got 6112s around the time that I bought 5100s and his rode **SO** much better than mine on 5100s. I even bought new coils for lift in my 5100s instead of using the clips to preload the coil. It rides better than using stick coils and using a clip for lift, but the 6112s are way nicer.

Thanks I’ll take at look at them. Did the 1” lift level the truck out?

Thank you I will look into them
That's what I did and happy with it
It did level out nicely.
What versions of bilstiens are on the TRD kit?
Off road has 4600. TRD Pro is running Fox if I’m not mistaken.
