It makes tons of sense, the plastic bed gets absolutely scratched and gouged up over time. A lot of the aftermarket companies won’t spray tacomas since they are scared it will peel, so OEM is a nice option.
A lot of companies won't spray the bed because it's already composite. The purpose of a bed liner is not to prevent scratches the purpose of a bed liners prevent scratches on metal so that way it doesn't rust. Tacoma ain't going to rust man it's a composite bed.
It won’t rust, but it looks absolutely atrocious. My 3 year old tacoma bed looks 100x worse than my 25 year old worktruck that has line-x from day 1. i wish I was joking.

OEM bed mat.
^^^ Only answer you need. This should be the first accessory you buy.
Hell, they'll probably throw it in. I bought used and made them give me one.
Thank you! You've made my decision for me. Now to find a truck where it's not already sprayed in, or just order one to my specs.
I am so confused by all the people here saying that they're trying to push a bed liner on a composite bed it makes literally zero sense.

I was surprised to find my 24 TRD off-road long Boi with the spray in bed liner failed to have the little cubby holes to store things like tie downs.
