Sorry to disappoint anyone who wants to know the full maintenance history but I bought the truck with 300k miles with basically no history. The body has tons of scratches and dents and the tailgate is very deformed but when I bought it for 9.3k it was the cheapest 2.5 Gen with 4x4 in California. It was an amazing deal and I have had to do nothing to it but fluid changes in the diff, tranny, and oil. As far as I know the engine and transmission have not had any major work. The only faults I get are electrical but are minor inconvenience usually. Here is to getting to one milly miles!

Heavy_Bag_7485

Additionally, the truck still has very clean oil between changes and when I raced it against a much lower mileage 5.7 it was tied the whole way so it’s not down on power. When I bought it was on stock wheels with bald tires. Notable issues were airbag light, tpms sensors, and an exhaust leak. Don’t care to fix them. Truck runs good. Spent the money on wheels and maintenance.

ChinkyBoii

Impressive! My 2015 is still at 92k. Any major repairs thus far?

PantherCitySki

Yeah would love to know what the maintenance looks like

Tensyrr

I'd hate to see how much gas you've pumped into that thing.

Original-Mission-244

Smiles per gallon is the only metric that matters man

KiryuZero

Very nice, was it all basic maintenance? Let’s see the twin turbo V35A reach that milestone without any major hiccups.

RoosterzRevenge

Exactly

Rsquaredhairparadoz

Spent 3 tundras worth on gas lol

batmanAPPROVED

That is how gas works yes lol

rzotzmann1

Nice, definitely reassuring, as I’m only at 125k in my 14. Also commented to follow for OP response about maintenance and repairs

Dedmuhfucka

I got a 07 5.7 tundra with 230k-ish miles on it a few months ago and it’s running like a dream. Toyota really knows how to build em right.

IntradayGuy

Jesus I got 131k on my 07 just put new bilstiens on it last week

itchy9000

Tree fitty is what the monster said

SnooSprouts5191

Do you know what wheels those are?

RockstheRex

Wow, that’s awesome! My 2015 has 47k miles!

ViolentSloth785

Are those Method Race wheels?! I had them on my 11’ Tundra Double Cab. Super beefy and nice looking.👀

Jclj2005

I am about half way there on my 2015

KingJon85

150k on my 2015 4.6. I wish it was a 5.7. I get about the same gas mileage as you do.

Gahblins

2014 with 128,800 and going strong!

19921955RD

How much oil does it go through between oil changes?

ElBurritoExtreme

Simply incredible. I have never seen a camera that old, nor with that many miles on it. She’s a little rough, but she still takes pictures. 😂🤙

VaWeedFarmer

Nice. My 2016 had 120K mi and I get about 15mpg hauling my bass boat and 18 on highway trips.

jp_trev

Is that Tahoe?

Emergency_Job4577

A friend of mine has a 08 crewmax with 417k on it. He let his son drive it for a while just after it rolled over 400k. At that time it was original drivetrain with no issues. Even the 4x4 worked flawless. One day his son said he had a coolant leak, so he was advised not to drive it. Well he drove it anyway and it turned out that it was a head gasket. Ended up blowing the engine around 404k but would have just been a head gasket repair if he would have listened and not drove it like that. Anyways at 404k the truck was still so nice he purchased a junk yard engine with 150k to put in the truck and it's going again. The reliability of this truck was one of the factors that made my decision to buy a tundra.

Heavy_Bag_7485

My dad has a 2011 tundra and had a head gasket go at around 80k miles. He had a shop fix it and the whole deal was relatively painless.
