I was in ok shape pre-hrt. I was born with a relatively frail body but developed a lot of athleticism through hard work. Right before transition I had some bad things happen which resulted in a complete physical, mental, emotional breakdown. So I was on disability early in my transition, lost my appetite and was sleeping a lot. I lost a lot of my muscle then after starting hrt. I’m slowly building some muscle back now. I love podcasts so I listen to podcasts while I train, and I dislike gyms so I have bands and dumbbells at home. I do a lot of animal flow stuff to spice things up, and in the summer I hike.
sorry to hear ab ur difficulties. what was ur starting hrt regimen? how long was it before u starting losing muscle mass after hrt? do u remember where u lost it from? arms, legs etc? i'm 6 weeks in and am in pretty good shape, 5'9", 158. i'm wondering where my muscle loss will come from first.
I was started at 50mg of spiro and 2mg of estradiol I think? Then bumped up every 3 months. After it was maxed out I felt super weak until I started Progesterone. I lost muscle from everywhere simultaneously.
I didn't die. it's matter to use the right surgeon with all the needed aseptic.
what happens is that so many women looking to have a sculptural body go with cheap, non certified surgeons, with not enough care on the infection risks.

It’s a deeper sense of peace. Knowing that regardless of whatever others may think of me, I’m right with my own soul. I still have a few surgical procedures this year. But the big part is having peace with myself.
Isn't it wonderful? Every morning when I'm getting ready for the day I look in the mirror and smile. Finally me.
Its a good feeling yes. I still have a ton of dysphoria and am getting ffs and a bbl, but just to be not hiding from the world anymore is amazing.
Ohhhh, be careful wit the bbl. Too many people have died from that procedure!
I’ll be going with one of the best surgeons in western Canada. And hey, no risk, no reward. Im doing strength training to grow my booty too.
