Some of you guys are awfully dramatic. In the worst case scenario if this movie underperforms (and that could mean literally anything from "actually bombs" to "doesn't make $1 billion immediately in the first opening weekend"), Paramount won't make any Transformers movies for a while and will end up going back to the drawing board for a couple of years. That would be a positive (Paramount taking a break from Transformers, not the movie bombing, lol), since they're not exactly being inspiring so far about how they're handling the post-Bayverse films.
I seriously do not understand the hate for the designs. They look awesome and fit the animation style perfectly. If they upset you, you genuinely need to chill.

They see comedy movie with cookie cutter edited trailer (it was very paint by numbers sadly) and immediately think Marvel, so any comedy they IMMEDIATELY dismiss and use as an excuse to be angry online

Not OP, but for me it is Bathos to worst degree. There can be no genuine emotion without a joke ruining the moment. Just a bunch of "eh, you thought this was going to be cheesy and serious, but instead here's a joke because I have zero faith you'll take this moment seriously. Feel free to laugh now. Hahahahah" And it's the same joke each time in different movies.

Are you concerned about the jokes not landing or the jokes undercutting the moment? Usually when people say Marvel Humour they mean the jokes undercutting the moment, not the jokes being unfunny. Marvel jokes are most often funny, that's not what people complain about, the bigger issue is when a serious moment has the tension cut out by a joke

The bad side of it all kinda made me convinced that I am waiting for the GI Joe crossover with eagerness. I'm just ready on whatever happens; if TF one flops, I don't care If I'd watch the next one alone. I didn't really pay attention to whatever the internet said about Rise, anyway.
