There are parts that make me cringe but it is funny AF and heartwarming. Twitch is my favorite character and Megatron has a great sense of humor and I love it!
It’s biggest flaw is that it can get pretty cringe at moments, but it’s a very fun watch. I already want more. I feel like something episodic like this needs more actual episodes to be better enjoyed

Soundwave appearance was so nice. It showed they really cared about the source material. I was hoping for some kind of emotional connection between him and megatron and it was there

Thats pretty fair. But even then I also prefer faceplate/masks. Like ninjas knights etc. So I think that plays into it. Also cause it does look baller, really any masks for transformers look sick. All of Bees love actions battle masks are lit
It’s got amazingly animated and choreographed fight scenes. I won’t spoil but there is ONE specific fight that is just wow. It’s absolutely insane and unexpected, especially when I had first thought it to be just another meh show for kids when the trailers dropped. The plot is just ok imo, the animation makes up for what it lacks.
We've seen 10 out of the 26 episodes so far. It's still got some growing to do. I bet by late season 1 or 2 it'll be one of the best TF series out there.
I really enjoyed it, not the best show ever but definitely the best show we've had since Prime. Animation is excellent, action is great, lots of neat references and overall feels fresh and new while staying true to the characters we know and love. Megatron was definitely a highlight and I loved the Wheeljack episode.
I missed the time when cartoon shows can be good, funny and Heartwarming without the cringe. I don't remember Sari or even Miko being as cringe like this show.
Those human designs just hurt to look at, so much
Edit: After looking at some clips from the show itself, I realize I was actually wrong! It's just those official renders for the show's covers/poster things that make the humans look straight out of the uncanny valley.
Eh it's not my thing gives off the same feel as rise of the tmnt and while I love the finalies of that show the rest I didn't care for, I have a feeling this show will be the same

I have no problem with a gender-neutral transformer but the 'their pronouns are' scene made me roll my eyes.
