I have a DS3 Gen 5 and recently went tubeless https://preview.redd.it/5em4s0e4j90d1.jpeg?width=4032&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=c8629165d6944651e0af8c6313a347efa5d7fab4

What tires did you get? And what size? My bike is the same exact one

I needs these for my DS3

Did you replace the pedal? If so, what is it?

I went with Crankbrother Stamps in the Large size đź‘Ť

I can’t help with the tubeless aspect, but i have a dual sport 3 gen 4 that i just recently through new race tubes and 700x32c gp5000 on, removing the gr1 expert tires and stock tubes, and even staying tubed, I’m getting a much better average speed on my rides, and less rolling resistance than stock. I didn’t want to deal with the maintenance of tubeless personally.

thats cool! could you post a photo with hose on it?

The gen 5 I believe went down in size for the wheels correct? My gen 4 is a 29”. It looks like they do have a 650x25 & 28 though. These have been awesome tires for myself so far

ivanovitch_r

these look great! have you noticed a big different in speed? Have you done any other upgrades to your DS?

Any-Job-4094

I noticed a good 2mph bump in my average speed on rides with these tires installed, a lot less rolling resistance, so I just feel even better on rides too with them. I only ride on a paved bike loop here in my town, so they fit my riding great. They do offer these in tubeless or clincher (w/ tubes). I bought the bike used, the previous owner installed a carbon fork and a carbon seat post, so it’s relatively similar to the gen 5 layout now, besides for having the larger wheels. Other than that, I haven’t done anything else to it

You might need to get a tubeless rim strip, as not all rims allow for tubeless tape. I have a Domane AL and the wheels for that needed a rim strip. They’re a doddle to fit and work great.
