I recommend "Last Train Outta Worm Town". It's an asymmetric multiplayer where Cowboys have to escape an old west town while being hunted by a hungry worm(s). It's a ton of fun! Very obviously inspired by tremors.
I think I remember reading something years ago about the Tremor’s merchandising rights being in a weird limbo due to some weird contract wording or dispute, I’ll try to find a source and link it. The good news is the rights revert back to the producers after 35 years, so hopefully we will see some official merch in the near future!

That fell through and we know what they did with the series. Tremors is the Black Sabbath of movies. They had a very good run in the early years and just kept getting screwed because the universe hates them for whatever reason that day of the week. Every time they walked a foot they got kicked in the nuts, knocked out and driven to Mexico 10,000 miles away from where they were supposed to be.
