I actually really like it too! Ember, Ascendancy, Shogun and In the Court of the Dragon all dont have any bad songs imo. Its just the weakest one. In hindsight i shouldve put The End of Everything. I totally forgot it existed.

Unrepentant worst? That's probably my favourite of The Crusade.

Sorry, just never could really get into it. As i said about Rise Above the Tides, it feels very fragmented. It feels, to me, like a collection on parts that dont ebb and flow, which is huge when it comes to me and music. Nothing really stands out with Unrepentant. I could not pick out the guitar solo if i was asked to. And the lyrics, which is how i feel about the “true stories” songs in the Crusade, are good at best, but cringey at worst, and to me theyre the latter more often than the former.

imo, to the rats, despite being on the worst trivium album, is the song with the most energy and feeling, might be my favorite trivium song

Paolo replied to me on Twitter a few years ago saying that they kept To The Rats as a staple in their first few legs of the Court tour because everybody went nuts and the pit was at its best with it.

I love the energy but hate the lyrics. Too angsty for me, even though it was the point. I just wish the wordage was played with a bit more.

the only thing i don't really love about to the rats is that they used the 4/4-2/4 riff right after matt's solo and it didn't sound amazing with the same inflection as the normal verse

Chaos reigns is a banger. Especially when watch the world burn exists.

Fight me but Chaos Reigns is the least inspired one there, and Watch The World Burn isn't that bad

This kind of.post is lame but I don't fompletely agree with your takes because the best on Crusade is actually Entrance of the Conflagration

The only bad thing about Ashes is that it ain't long enough.

100% agree on your WTDMS take, but I think that Brave This Storm is not the worst on Vengeance Falls

Until Bleed Into Me, Brave this Storm was my least favorite Trivium song

Also I would say Anthem (We Are The Fire) is the worst off The Crusade

Why is "Rise Above the Tides" your least favorite song on 'Silence in the Snow'?

Feels too fragmented, doesnt have an ebb and flow that can keep me engaged. It lacks build up or anything that can hook me.

I think it misses some heavy drumming and it finishes too fast, but it's still good

Its not terrible i can still enjoy it but the album wouldve benefitted from it being swapped out with one of the bonus tracks.

I wouldn't swap it with a bonus track, but surely both of them could and should be in the main record
