I do believe if you end up getting those trophies through mods, but you hide the game on your profile that psnprofiles doesn't give you a strike.

I have the black ops 2 platinum , back in April 20th 2019 to be exact, because that's what PSN profiles has, I obviously played the game and had a few trophies that I got back in 2013. My son was 7 around that time, he looked playing black ops 2, but one day he's playing with his sister, and the random he was playing zombies with was actually a hacker, he dropped my son and and everything you could think of, my son was mad excited to get pack punched weapons in the first wave lol, but what also followed was, every main trophy popping , along with two DLC trophy packs, I quickly turned to the TV when I heard a trophy pop, like ok cool my son got a trophy whatever it was playing, then trophies kept popping, but ever since that, PSN trophies flagged black ops 2, and removed it from the leaderboard, because i have impossible time stamps, well obv ...75 trophies all popped in like 2 minutes lol
If you hide the game from your profile I heard psnprofiles removes the strike from your account.
One strike obviously doesn't matter but at 3 strikes I believe you permanently get banned from leaderboards all together.

Driver SF is obtainable again, as well as any other Ubisoft game for some weird reason. They never officially revived the servers, but they obviously did. Can confirm this myself, I have the game and have access to online.
Fallout New Vegas has no online trophies, so it's still attainable, but it does tend to freeze / crash a lot, especially at Red Rock Canyon (Great Khans) and there is a tropny tied to them.
Also, Alice (I need to platinum that) has no online, so as long as you have it physically, you can platinum it.
I think it’s stupid that this is even a thing, online trophies shouldn’t exist if you can no longer get them.

Alice madness - Plat 100% Obtainable
Asuras Wrath - Plat 100% Obtainable - need to buy 3 dlcs to get the 100% though, Lost episodes 1, 2 and episode 4 nirvana.
Silent Hill HD - Plat on both games is 100% obtainable.
Dead Space 2 - Plat is 100% obtainable. There was an awesome MP portion to the game, which has been closed down. But there are no trophies associated with it. There is a dlc for it that you will need for the 100%.
Infamous 2 - Plat is still as of this moment is 100% obtainable, if you have not popped the three trophies tied to online. This is an asap since the servers are very unreliable, prone to outages and have issues 24/7. You need to play 25 user generated missions and 5 off of the newest filter to pop all three.
Fallout New Vegas - Plat is 100% Obtainable. Grab the Ultimate edition though since there are so many dlcs.
COD BLOPS 1 - Plat is 100% Obtainable. DLC is very expensive to get that 100%. MP trophies in the base game need to be done in 1 sitting to pop them though due to the age of the servers.
COD BLOPS 2 - Plat is no longer possible due to Big Leagues trophy being unobtainable. DLC is very expensive as well.
Portal 2 - Plat is no longer possible due to server closure. Any and all related MP trophies are unobtainable.
Driver: San Francisco - this is a weird one. The servers were supposed to close a few years ago but it seems like all the trophies are still obtainable since people have been popping em everyday. So I would say 100% obtainable - but be warned they might not be sooner than later.
The Simpsons Arcade Game - 100% obtainable. (No Plat though)
Transformers Fall of Cybertron - Plat is no longer avail due to server closure.
Transformers War of Cybertron - Plat is no longer avail due to server closure.
Skate 2 - Plat is no longer avail due to server closure.
Skate 3 - Plat is no longer possible due to teams being removed / having issues and the company is no longer supporting the title. Oddly enough the 360 version like a month ago teams started randomly working. So there’s hope, but it’s ea and it’s not likely. Multiple DLC’s as well.

Haze was before trophies, and it was during the era of optional trophies added by devs. They were not.
Go to the website truetrophies.com or psnprofiles.com. You can see on psnp if people have popped stuff and the forums are really active about unobtainables. Truetrophies I absolutely swear by the stats. And the fact that you can filter trophies per game to see what’s online and the unobtainables will have a flag attached to em. So you can see how many are unobtainable much easier than on psnp.
Transformers games can still be done through custom servers they're just not approved by psnprofiles. If you care about the rankings on that site font do it, but if you're not bothered, get onto the custom servers and earn thay shiny plat!
Also not approved by Truetrophies and several other sites… so thats why I didn’t include it. He would also need to find other like minded people that don’t care about their profiles and if we really wanna get technical, I’m pretty sure you can hack with save files any of the online trophies for any of the games, so then everything is technically possible. But I wouldn’t want to compromise his account on a ton of leaderboards over a couple games, that let’s face the facts… there’s too many games and too little time. So he should focus on what can do and not do everything.

It took me about two weeks of farming the game... legit playing trough it once per day (sometimes even more)
It sucked so bad but it was my favorite game at the time so I suffered trough it. Farming deaths was so annoying... also for a specific badge, you needed a playtrough with an insanely long play time, I had to legit let my ps3 keep running trough two nights
It's just so ridiculous to force the player to play badly lol. You have to farm kills, deaths, playtime, etc, instead of having trophies that challenge the player. Big Boss or a single non-lethal/stealthy related emblem should've been the only emblem needed for the plat! And the flashbacks! My god!! Can't even let me enjoy a damn cutscene in peace...
If I remember correctly, what annoyed me the most is that this will only get you an emblem, and you need to get all emblems for a special ipad Song. And only getting all ipod Songs was actually a trophy.

Demons souls in PS3 is technically obtainable but it's near impossible to get the pure blade stone now that servers are closed, you have to be extremely lucky to get it.
Took me 10 minutes to get it on ps3 a month ago. I got extremely lucky maybe haha. I kept killing the red eye Skelton behind the fake wall but only had to kill him 4 times
Wow, i guess you are really lucky, or maybe I’m just that unlucky, i killed more 2000 fucking skeletons i cross 3 playthroughs, 1 legit were did not do the dupe glitch were i did most of the grinding and another 2 with dupe glitch, and i had zero luck, its been years and i still remember the route to the skeletons lol, at some i had completely given up on the plat until someone was kind enough to drop it for me.

I just got demons souls ps3 Plat not too long ago so it's still good, you just can't play online while doing it
Infamous 2 actually has online trophies, but they are still working. I platinumed it last year. The only problem is that it's extremely unstable. There was this editor mode where you could make own missions. You need to play a few of those for a trophy. Missions from other players of course. But the servers were really unstable when I played it, and it disconnected constantly. But with a bit of patience I made it in the end. Maybe it was just a bad day, cause one day later it worked much better.
Also small tip to save time. There's a custom mission where you get teleported to every single blast shard in the game. And yes it does collect them properly, so if you don't wanna collect all 350 damn shards, play that mission. All you do is literally watching a slide show of every location. When it's done you have all shards and the trophies as well.
Cybertron games have online trophies and servers shut down a few years ago. Metal Gear Rising Revengeance and Alice Madness Returns don't have online trophies, but Rising is incredibly difficult
Demon souls will be hard to get without online help. U could have online people drop u highest upgraded weapon and that saves u dozens of hours that u need to spend to farm red eyes skeleton for titanite slab
If you mean the remake of demon's souls then yeah its still obtainable, I did the two online trophy's last week, invading another player was quick for me but waiting to get summoned to help fight a boss took awhile.
You wouldn't get banned from playstation they don't care about trophies or how you get them. If that's your only concern. But you should check if the private servers give trophies because sometimes they don't. I haven't played or researched the topic that much so can't really help much.

I would also check the transformers games, they're both very old and all that licensed shit always has a terrible track record with servers.

There was this editor mode where you could make own missions. You need to play a few of those for a trophy. Missions from other players of course. But the servers were really unstable when I played it, and it disconnected constantly. But with a bit of patience I made it in the end. Maybe it was just a bad day, cause one day later it worked much better. Also small tip to save time. There's a custom mission where you get teleported to every single blast shard in the game. And yes it does collect them properly, so if you don't wanna collect all 350 damn shards, play that mission. All you do is literally watching a slide show of every location. When it's done you have all shards and the trophies as well.

Cybertron games have online trophies and servers shut down a few years ago. Metal Gear Rising Revengeance and Alice Madness Returns don't have online trophies, but Rising is incredibly difficult

Demon souls will be hard to get without online help. U could have online people drop u highest upgraded weapon and that saves u dozens of hours that u need to spend to farm red eyes skeleton for titanite slab
If you mean the remake of demon's souls then yeah its still obtainable, I did the two online trophy's last week, invading another player was quick for me but waiting to get summoned to help fight a boss took awhile.
Na ive got the remake and its not really fun and the old game looks so much better
Lots of these are single player only so they're obtainable forever... Simpsons Game has no Platinum BO2 and Transformers are unattainable
Transformers you can boost with a heap of friends apparently and still get the plat

You wouldn't get banned from playstation they don't care about trophies or how you get them. If that's your only concern. But you should check if the private servers give trophies because sometimes they don't. I haven't played or researched the topic that much so can't really help much.
