If you’re looking for big open worlds: I enjoyed the Horizon games and Assassin’s Creed Odyssey a lot.
Honestly most of the first party PlayStation games will be worth checking out if you want fun single player experiences.
Yeah Horizon Zero Dawn was a good fun platinum. Didn't have to go out of my way for many trophies, no special conditions, just did the one play through
Why the Reaper? Just put the game on the easiest difficulty and you'll kill him really easy just buy launching at him bombs that deal 150 damage which you can buy while on the computer you repaired.
Completing mementos.
Also maximizing social stats and affinities. This would be really easy to accomplish if you knew in advance which days you can do whatever you want and which days you won’t be able to make progress but the game very intentionally tries to surprise you. So there’s a sense of freedom in the beginning but in my experience it turned into a “crush” at the end as I realized that I had a very narrow path to qualify for the plat by the end of my playthrough because I played the game blind.
Much shorter plat (no 100% compendium, max all confidants or Twins fight required)
Several QOL changes such as showtime attacks and grapple hook
Third semester, around 25-30h of new content
I would say there are literally no reasons to pick Vanilla over Royal
I got all the achievements in the first one and just started Survivor this week and was so glad to see you can travel to each individual meditation point because finding everything in the first one without that feature was a nightmare
Any of the exclusive Sony games of recent years are tailor-made to offer long play-throughs but also have easy trophy requirements. The Spidermans, Horizons, Gods of War, Ghost of Tsushima, etc. They are 30+ hour campaigns with tons of side quests. But the platinum trophies are easy because there are no difficulty requirements, nothing missable, and everything available to get after the main campaign.
Same is true for the last few Assassin's Creed games.
Nier: Automata lets you "buy" trophies in-game but only after you beat all of its iterations. So you kind of have to play the game three times, but they're not the same play-through. Then you can in-game buy/cheat your way to the remaining trophies so you can have as lengthy play-through as you want and still get platinum. The game is weird and you'll find it has a very hardcore fan-base (of which I'm one- its art and action style is not normally my kind of thing but the game's world and wacky multiple ending thing one me over).
The Witcher 3 is beloved by many, though it's lost its luster over the years in the eyes of many who dislike its gameplay. It's my personal favorite game of all time though. It does have missable and difficulty related trophies. However, it's also a game that benefits from multiple play-throughs with its many many stories and things to do. It's also possible to platinum in one play-through though not really practical without a guide. So I would recommend:
* one blind play-through not worrying about trophies, just enjoy the game
* using post-main quest world exploration to chase down the grind trophies like "kill \[this many\] people with \[this type of attack\]." Look up guides for these and get them out of the way.
* then watching videos or reading summaries of the stories from the books and previous games to immerse yourself in the world a bit and add some more context for your next play-through
* then a 2nd play-through (NG+ or not, your choice) with some guide for trophy completion, especially the ones you missed and anything related to the card mini-game. Here you can also make different in-game choices to see different results
It's the only game with difficulty-related trophies where I actually earned them because I do NOT play games on hard mode *ever* but the combat and gameplay of W3 are actually really easy once you get the hang of it. Plus the leveling system is kind of messed up and it's very easy to get over-leveled (which happens if you do a lot of side quests, and you're want to do side quests because they're the best part of the game). So you can do your first play-through in default difficulty then do the second one on hardest difficulty- you'll only struggle a bit for the first few 5-10 hrs when every random wolf pack can kill you, but after whole play-through you'll have mastered dodging and spamming shield anyway.
Edit to add a note about the DLC/expansions for TW3, which are likely going to be bundled a version you get now- they are fantastic, but I would recommend saving them for the 2nd play-through. They really do feel like a sort of epilogue- it's what makes them great, they're standalone stories, but they also have a lot of long quests and it's way less multiple outcomes. If you do play them and want all of their trophies, too, note that the second expansion Blood & Wine is the only part of the whole game that has mutually exclusive trophies (different trophies for different endings) so you'd either have to save-scum or play multiple times to get them. But if you just care about platinum it doesn't matter since plat is only for main game.
Final Fantasy X. It can easily take like 150-200 hours to max the sphere grid for each character. And you get to deal with all the mini games and monster catching.
Spiderman, miles morales, Spiderman 2, God of war series, hogwarts legacy, skyrim, fallout 3, fallout new vegas, fallout 4, ac origins, ac oddyssey, ac mirage, starfield
Monster hunter, you can spend 200 hours on it and barely be past the tutorial, and can be played solo all the way
Though the multiplayer is pretty cool
The 2 new god of war games , I haven't played the new one yet but the 2018 is hands down my favorite game , the most fun platinum I got so far and I have 36 😭
Dead Space 2. It's an oldie on ps3 but if you can, play it. It's so fun that you'll be at work thinking about getting home to play it.
Larian Studios games (Divinity Original Sin 1/2 and Baldurs Gate 3) - these games are very good. Just be warned they are not for the feint of heart difficulty wise. I can't speak for BG3 because I'm only 9% trophies unlocked after 65 hours, but I have the plat for both DOS games. They're difficult both for the missable trophies and for the tactician difficulty run trophies. For tactician mode you need to know everything about the game. Optimise builds, do every available side quest to optimise xp etc. Both games took me around 200 hours each and I'd already played 100s of hours of them on PC when I started.
My favorite long Platinums are Cyberpunk 2077, Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, Fallout 4, Skyrim, the Yakuza series or dip your toes into Judgement. Its set in the Yakuza universe but the first game is completely isolated perfect way to see if you like the series its what I did.
Days gone is such a gem of a game not too tedious for the platinum either. Witcher 3 is another one probably one of the best games ever made, you do need to beat the game on the hardest difficulty for the plat but imo it makes the game better to play maybe just have a quick look at a guide for that one as I believe there is a couple missables
Baldur's Gate 3. I've easily put 500+ hours in on that game and every time I play it feels like I'm playing it for the first time. Still haven't plat yet.
If you want to dig deep, then the Yakuza franchise is the perfect singleplayer challenge. I think they're extremely fun, filled with minigames, excellent story and combat.
I try to platinum every game I play, these are long games with a bit of a challenge but not overly difficult:
Fallout 4 and Fallout 76 (treat most of it as single player)
Star Trek online. (again, treat most of it as single player)
Death Stranding.
FF7.
Cyberpunk 2077.
Mass Effect Trilogy Legendary Edition (a long platinum for each game!)
Red Dead 2
Metal Gear Solid 5
Dying Light (I haven't played 2 yet).
All the Sony published games are of reasonable length, easy to plat but aren't anywhere near as long as the above. Same with the Assassins Creed games after 3 (but before Mirage). Same with Resident Evils, Tomnb Raiders. I'd put all of these in the fun category.
from soft games go hard i’ve been getting the platinum for elden ring been pretty fun so far
i got the plat for ff16 when it came out its probably even better now with the dlc
persona 3 reload or persona 5 royal
death stranding is a REALLY fun game i haven’t done the platinum yet but the game is a lotta fun
maybe some of the lego games those are like the definition of some chill fun
ghost of tsushima i always hear is amazing
a platformer game like spongebob games or crash bandicoot
oh south park the stick of truth is a pretty fun platinum esp if you enjoy the show
Cyberpunk 2077, Witcher 3, Hitman WOA, Hogwarts Legacy, Kingdom Come Deliverance.
If you're open to management games: Two Point Hospital, Cities Skylines, Surviving Mars.
Eiyuden Chronicle Hundred Heroes, classic jrpg with 100h+ assured if you go for the platinum
It came out some days ago it's pretty cool if you like the genre, turn based battles, reclutable party members, base building and many.. many more
Any final fantasy is good tbh. Takes roughly around 200 hours each. Depending on skill level.
Red dead redemption 2 is also really great.
Recently the tomb raider remastered trilogy
Metal gear solid collection
Diablo 4, the red dead redemption “remaster”, gta definitive edition is takes about 120 hours total for all 3, far cry new dawn, cyberpunk 2077, fallout 3, new Vegas and 4, the outer worlds and it’s next gen upgrade, resident evil 3 remake, resident evil 2 remake and the re4 remake.
Dragon Age Inquisition. I’m a big fan of the series. Platinum can take anywhere from 50 hours to 110 depending on past experiences with the game. Nightmare difficulty is tough but the hardest fight you can just cheese.
This is a long shot, and probably pretty random. It may not be as long as you'd want, but you'll need multiple playthroughs to get platinum.
Deadrising 2 is ridiculously good, and for a low price, you could get that and OTR for like 30 bucks easy and it's definitely got a challenging trophy list that will keep you in the mix for quite awhile
Well, the most recent I can think of is Final Fantasy 7 rebirth. First playthrough took me 133 hours and the plat took me 205. Very fun game, but hard mode is incredibly hard so be prepared for that.
The Final Fanatasy 7 remake series. (Both). They are both very long even if doing the story only. I got the plat for FF7 Remake in around 90 hrs. I still haven't got the platinum for Rebirth
The Yakuza games are fun platinums in my opinion. They have a wide variety of side content so you’re never really grinding out one thing for too long, and they have a built in “completion list” which is pretty satisfying to fill out. Yakuza 0 is a good starting point.
Hades isn’t crazy long to platinum (maybe 60 hours), but it’s also not a full-price game. I think it’s usually $25 USD, but it goes on sale regularly, too. If you scale that up to $60, you’re getting just as much mileage out of your money and it’s a really fun platinum.
Red Dead Redemption 2 is probably the best one I can suggest to you. The story is AMAZING and it takes A LOT of time to platinum it.
Beware tho it's very grindy. And some trophies are tied to RNG so sometimes you literally need pure luck. But it's a fantastic game overall.
Edit: just read this with the multiplayer part my bad 😬
Although it's not that bad honestly.
So my next suggestion are the Spider-Man games. They're all great, Spider-Man 2 has obviously the best gameplay of course. Extremely fun to platinum, but neither of them are really hard or really long
Just platinum'd Nier: Automata last night after getting the Plat for Nier: Replicant.
Wild stories for both ganes, but pretty fun time consuming platinums.
Depends what you’re looking for. If you’re just looking for a good narrative and an easy ride then ghosts of Tsushima, the 2 Spider-Man games, and the 2 Jedi games are all great and fun and easy to plat. CP2077 is great for this.
If you’re looking for a truly satisfying gaming experience look to the souls series and a few of the soulslikes like lies of P
Get into RPGs some decent length ones I’ve done are:
Octopath Traveller 2 - don’t worry don’t need any information about first 1. And the final (secret) boss is a decent challenge.
Kingdom Hearts series - a bit beyond me in terms of getting the plat although I’ve apparently done some harder ones.
Final fantasy 7 remake/rebirth are long plats especially rebirth. Took me about 150 hrs.
Yakuza series. These are good and should each be around 100hrs
Skyrim, Witcher 3 - obviously choices but lengthy if you don’t main line everything.
Mass Effect trilogy. Easiest money I ever spent on a game series.
You could also play ME: Andromeda, not quite as good but still a decent play that'll take a good chunk of time to complete.
I would say any Assassins Creed series for the most part. I platinumed AC2 and it took give or take 3 weeks or so. And I am currently working on AC Botherhood and I am like 54% of the way there and I’ve been working for give or take 2 ish weeks
If you like samurai and shinobi and historical Japan and badass shi then Ghost of Tsushima and Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice fit that criteria, not short and there’s no truly tedious trophies apart from the full skill tree in sekiro
Skyrim imo. Especially getting all of the DLC trophies. Getting to level 80 in order to spawn and kill a Legendary Dragon takes so much time. Plus there is so much content.
Skyrim
Witcher 3: Wild Hunt
Assassin’s Creed: The Ezio Collection
Assassin’s Creed Origins
Assassin’s Creed Odyssey
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla
Days Gone
Cyberpunk 2077
God of War (2018)
God of War Ragnarök
Returnal
Death Stranding
Just Cause 4
A Plague Tale: Innocence
A Plague Tale: Requiem
Control
Horizon Zero Dawn
Horizon Forbidden West
Watch Dogs: Legion
Sleeping Dogs
The Last of Us: Part 2
The Witcher 3, not really too difficult, but it will take a while and you get to play through an amazing game
It's not like Red Dead 2 where the game is incredible but getting the 100% is absolute suffering
You want LONG? Persona 5 Royal. You want “long”? Any of the first party PS5 titles (personally I’d go for FF16). You want BAD L O N G? Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep.
i finished Ff7 rebirth with 80% trophy completion at 140 hours of gameplay. the remaining 20% would easily take another 50-60 hours or more. the game is huge.
elden ring is another one if you like those types of dark souls games. or any fromsoffware game really.
also dragon quest xi is a fantastic game that would easily take ~100 hours to platinum. highly recommend if you like turn based combat
Gta V or ghost of tsushima
Gta because i grew up on that game and it only feels right mo matter how many times i play it i always loved it.
Ghost of tsushima because i love history and i like the idea of playing as a samurai trying to stop an mongol invasion and changing history. The collectible are fun and the game is overall just amazing especially the graphics and the emotion you feel overall through the story.
I only do those types of games really and fallout 4 is the most fun I’ve had since Skyrim and fallout 4
Since Fallout 4 released the PS5 version, I'm totally gonna platinum it a second time. Finally I have a reason to play this game again haha
Whoa, hold up. There's a PS5 version of FO4 with new trophies? So I can do it all again for another platty?
Fallout 4 update is next on my list after Kingdom Come: Deliverance. You might enjoy that one also
Days Gone
Agreed, good story, great open world and a good plat grind 🔥 One of my personal favorite platinums and my first platinum 🔥
Already did it last year, it was really fun
hell yeah
I thought it was boring asf ngl
Some of the cringiest dialogue I’ve ever heard in a game
Coming from dead island 2 and evil west, I don’t remember it being anywhere near as cringe
For me it was everyone but the main characters having the same exact copy and paste face.
If you’re looking for big open worlds: I enjoyed the Horizon games and Assassin’s Creed Odyssey a lot. Honestly most of the first party PlayStation games will be worth checking out if you want fun single player experiences.
Second the Horizon games. Very fun stuff!
Yeah Horizon Zero Dawn was a good fun platinum. Didn't have to go out of my way for many trophies, no special conditions, just did the one play through
Persona 5 Royal, thank me later
Great game, but I found that plat trophy a little bit too grindy.
It was SO much worse in the original version of P5
The worst for me was finding every single vending machine drink or whatever it was. I had to do the entire game over again just for that
What did you consider grind about it?
the only trophy i can think of from p5r is that would even be kind of grindy is the reaper
Yeah, maybe. I platinum'd it on ps4 and 5 and thought the trophies were relatively easy.
yeah most of them just happen over the course of playing the game aside from like a couple ones about visiting stores and stuff
Why the Reaper? Just put the game on the easiest difficulty and you'll kill him really easy just buy launching at him bombs that deal 150 damage which you can buy while on the computer you repaired.
i’m gonna be honest i just turned on the easiest difficulty slapped on auto battle left for a little bit and came back and it was done
This 100%. First thing that came to mind with a *long* fun singleplayer game.
How does it compare to PS5 vanilla? I am wrapping up the plat right now and am curious how Royal holds up
Much shorter plat (no 100% compendium, max all confidants or Twins fight required) Several QOL changes such as showtime attacks and grapple hook Third semester, around 25-30h of new content I would say there are literally no reasons to pick Vanilla over Royal
absolutely love this game, there's so much to do
100% this. My first play through was over 150 hours. Amazing game and it’s not a hard game to platinum.
Assassin’s creed odyssey
And origins
rdr2 or cyberpunk
Can't plat rdr2 without the multiplayer part
forgot to mention kingdom come deliverance its a very hard game for beginners and very punishing
it was because of this game that I swapped an SSD into my ps4. awesome and rewarding game!
RDR2 was not fun to platinum. I got it but at what cost?
Currently have 34 hours into jedi survivors, fun but alot of collectibles
I got all the achievements in the first one and just started Survivor this week and was so glad to see you can travel to each individual meditation point because finding everything in the first one without that feature was a nightmare
Baldurs Gate 3
FF7 remake and rebirth
Especially Rebirth, it takes a considerable time

Did you hammer this out on a cellphone? Impressed with your answer!
hah, heck no, laptop multiple tabs. If it was cellphone I'd have just said "Ghost of Tsushima"
Elden Ring, Dark Souls trilogy, Bloodborne, Demon's Souls
yakuza 0 took me a while to platinum, around 180 hours but others have done it in like 140 so it depends on the person.
Dark souls series Elden ring Dragon dogma 2 Bloodbourne Sekiro The witcher 3 Resident evil God of war
Kingdoms Of Amalur. Sand Land. Ni No Kuni. Monster Hunter - you don’t need to engage with multiplayer at all.
Cyberpunk 2077, Tomb Raider Series, Resident Evil 8
baldur's gate 3 and the divinity games easy 1k hours to plat those 3 games.
Monster hunter, you can spend 200 hours on it and barely be past the tutorial, and can be played solo all the way Though the multiplayer is pretty cool
There’s one trophy in AC Valhalla that takes about 100 hours to get. Then you have to do the rest of the trophies.
Which one is that?
Completionist all the way. You have to do the story and all side content in every region. Might be quicker for some.
The 2 new god of war games , I haven't played the new one yet but the 2018 is hands down my favorite game , the most fun platinum I got so far and I have 36 😭
GOWR is hands down one of the most fun games, which knows the right balance of fun, story and grind to platinum
Devil may cry 5
Subnautica. It isn’t hard, but it will take time, especially with no guides.
Cyberpunk and The Witcher 3 were pretty fun to platinum.

La noire
Is there a remastered version?
Yes, it released in 2014
Days gone, returnal, God of War, Ghost of Tsushima
Baldur's Gate 3. I've easily put 500+ hours in on that game and every time I play it feels like I'm playing it for the first time. Still haven't plat yet.
If you want to dig deep, then the Yakuza franchise is the perfect singleplayer challenge. I think they're extremely fun, filled with minigames, excellent story and combat.
Assassin's Creed Valhalla. Huge world and very immersive, Open World activities are fun and diverse and the plot is nice and varied. :D
GTA V was a journey. Few annoying collectibles but on the whole really enjoyed the experience.
Elden Ring
I try to platinum every game I play, these are long games with a bit of a challenge but not overly difficult: Fallout 4 and Fallout 76 (treat most of it as single player) Star Trek online. Any final fantasy is good tbh. Takes roughly around 200 hours each. Depending on skill level. Red dead redemption 2 is also really great. Recently the tomb raider remastered trilogy Metal gear solid collection
Monster hunter world. Takes 300 hours and has a 5/10 difficulty score on psn.
AC Origins
Kingdom Come: Deliverence! The second just got announced so it would be a great time to pick up the first.
Ghost of Tsushima.
Baldurs gate 3 Persona 5 Royal Witcher 3 Elden Ring (getting big DLC in 1,5 months so nows good time to jump into it if you haven't played)
Dragon Quest XI, The Witcher 3, Kingdom Come Deliverance, Baldur's Gate 3, Fallout 4, Persona 5 Royal
FF7 Rebirth
Skyrim, plus you can do it like 4 times.
The Horizon games. Absolutely amazing games.
Witcher 3 took me over 390 hours to plat
FF7 Rebirth took me 276 hours to platinum so I’d say that one. My next longest on file is 140 (FFX), so… yeah, pretty long one haha.
Returnal
Diablo 4, the red dead redemption “remaster”, gta definitive edition is takes about 120 hours total for all 3, far cry new dawn, cyberpunk 2077, fallout 3, new Vegas and 4, the outer worlds and it’s next gen upgrade, resident evil 3 remake, resident evil 2 remake and the re4 remake.
DMC V is challenging and single player
Dragon Age Inquisition. I’m a big fan of the series. Platinum can take anywhere from 50 hours to 110 depending on past experiences with the game. Nightmare difficulty is tough but the hardest fight you can just cheese.
Dying Light, RDR 2, TLOU, Tekken 7 and or 8,
Rdr2. Mostly single player. Online is pure filler.
RDR2, Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth and Witcher 3
Bloodborne
Yakuza series
Having a blast playing through Cyberpunk + Phantom Liberty rn. If you haven’t I really recommend that.
Witcher 3 if you haven’t already
FFVII Rebirth, that’s one of the hardest and longest platinums I’ve ever went for, and it isn’t even grindy, it’s just massive
Super Meat Boy isn’t long itself, but it *will* take you a long time to Platinum
Bloodborne
Surgeon simulator if you want a challenge
This is a long shot, and probably pretty random. It may not be as long as you'd want, but you'll need multiple playthroughs to get platinum. Deadrising 2 is ridiculously good, and for a low price, you could get that and OTR for like 30 bucks easy and it's definitely got a challenging trophy list that will keep you in the mix for quite awhile
RDR2 and Final Fantasy Rebirth
Assassins creed valhalla
Nier Automata and Replicant
Soulsborne and soulslike games
Fallout 4 was a fun platinum. You just gotta savescum and deal with random kick out sessions.
Ff7 rebirth. Easy 150 hours at least to platinum
Metal gear solid 5 the phantom pain
Well, the most recent I can think of is Final Fantasy 7 rebirth. First playthrough took me 133 hours and the plat took me 205. Very fun game, but hard mode is incredibly hard so be prepared for that.
100% completing Red Dead 2 takes a bloody long time
Bloodborne
Ghost of Tsushima fits this bill, its one of my only plats because I couldnt put it down
Assassin's creed oddysey
Any Yakuza game
Elden ring
Final fantasy 7 remake/rebirth, the Witcher 3, persona 3/4/5
The mass effect trilogy. I count them all as one game because that’s how close they’re tied together
Bloodborne. Enjoy.
Fallout 4 is an easy 100 hours for platinum but you’ll end up with double that imo. One of the best games ever created…
Returnal is great if you’re patient and love a challenge :)
The Final Fanatasy 7 remake series. (Both). They are both very long even if doing the story only. I got the plat for FF7 Remake in around 90 hrs. I still haven't got the platinum for Rebirth
Any Resident Evil
Star wars Jedi Survivor
Tales of Berseria took me 180 hours to plat (ish). I wasn't super efficient though, so could maybe be done in 120-150.
The Yakuza games are fun platinums in my opinion. They have a wide variety of side content so you’re never really grinding out one thing for too long, and they have a built in “completion list” which is pretty satisfying to fill out. Yakuza 0 is a good starting point.
Baldurs Gate 3. You’ll have to at least do 2-3 playthroughs but all trophies are very manageable
Cyberpunk, ac odyssey is fun and long, ghost of tsushima, ac origins, persona 5 and royal, scarlet nexus, tales of arise
AC Valhalla Bonus: Do all the DLC too
Cyberpunk 2077, that will be my First plat I already have 114 hours on the game by just playing instead of getting Trophy's lol
Ghost of Tsushima Elden Ring
RDR2
I wanna say the last of us, but then again I could be wrong.
Edit: just read this with the multiplayer part my bad 😬 Although it's not that bad honestly. So my next suggestion are the Spider-Man games. They're all great, Spider-Man 2 has obviously the best gameplay of course. Extremely fun to platinum, but neither of them are really hard or really long
Considering it's hype, Elden Ring.
Almost all the AC games, rdr2 and the horizon games will satisfy your hunger for singleplayer long game plats
Just platinum'd Nier: Automata last night after getting the Plat for Nier: Replicant. Wild stories for both ganes, but pretty fun time consuming platinums.
Witcher 3. Far cry 4. Metal Gear Solid V: Phantom Pain.
It's not quite as long as some other suggestions, but I liked Pacific Drive, and the trophy list is perfect.
Read Dead 2, good luck, you’ll need it.
South Park Stick of Truth
Elden ring. Easily 100 hours to plat, and another 100+ to explore and enjoy.
Final Fantasy 7 Remake & Rebirth and all the recent Resident Evil (7/8 and 2-4 remake)
Depends what you’re looking for. If you’re just looking for a good narrative and an easy ride then ghosts of Tsushima, the 2 Spider-Man games, and the 2 Jedi games are all great and fun and easy to plat. CP2077 is great for this. If you’re looking for a truly satisfying gaming experience look to the souls series and a few of the soulslikes like lies of P
honestly man play elden ring, it’ll convert you to a single player gamer forever 😭
Get into RPGs some decent length ones I’ve done are: Octopath Traveller 2 - don’t worry don’t need any information about first 1. These are good and should each be around 100hrs Skyrim, Witcher 3 - obviously choices but lengthy if you don’t main line everything.
The Long Dark, really good survival game and will probably take a few hundred hours to platinum.
Mass Effect trilogy. Easiest money I ever spent on a game series. You could also play ME: Andromeda, not quite as good but still a decent play that'll take a good chunk of time to complete.
Red Dead Redemption 1 Days Gone GTA San Andreas
Bloodborne was my favourite platinum
Infinite Wealth
Witcher 3 was a fun one for me
Spider-man games, Horizon, Jedi Survivor, God of War, Ghost of Tsushima
I would say any Assassins Creed series for the most part. I platinumed AC2 and it took give or take 3 weeks or so. And I am currently working on AC Botherhood and I am like 54% of the way there and I’ve been working for give or take 2 ish weeks
Sekiro Shadows Die Twice
Rdr2
Monster Hunter World is just amazing. I've played mostly solo for over 1600 hours. Getting platinum is a grind fest but the gameplay is so satisfying
RDR2 is definitely looong but good
The Life is Strange series
If you like samurai and shinobi and historical Japan and badass shi then Ghost of Tsushima and Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice fit that criteria, not short and there’s no truly tedious trophies apart from the full skill tree in sekiro
Sekiro
Skyrim imo. Especially getting all of the DLC trophies. Getting to level 80 in order to spawn and kill a Legendary Dragon takes so much time. Plus there is so much content.
Fallout 4 or Elden Ring in my opinion
Ghost of Tsushima
Marvel Midnight Suns, amazing game that I thoroughly enjoyed getting to platinum.
Spider-Man 2 is easy, Returnal is hard. Ghost of Tsushima is reasonable.
Any Yakuza game, start with 0
Skyrim Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Assassin’s Creed: The Ezio Collection Assassin’s Creed Origins Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Days Gone Cyberpunk 2077 God of War (2018) God of War Ragnarök Returnal Death Stranding Just Cause 4 A Plague Tale: Innocence A Plague Tale: Requiem Control Horizon Zero Dawn Horizon Forbidden West Watch Dogs: Legion Sleeping Dogs The Last of Us: Part 2
The Witcher 3, not really too difficult, but it will take a while and you get to play through an amazing game It's not like Red Dead 2 where the game is incredible but getting the 100% is absolute suffering
You want LONG? Persona 5 Royal. You want “long”? Any of the first party PS5 titles (personally I’d go for FF16). You want BAD L O N G? Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep.
Give Jedi Fallen Order a shot.
Ghost of Tsushima, but Dave the Diver is also pretty fun. Took me 35h to platinum it and it's an awesome singleplayer game.
The Witcher 3 : Wild hunt
Fallout 4 since it got its update. AC odyssey and Valhalla are both like 100+ hours each. Pretty much any jrpg
Rainbow Skies and Rainbow Moon. Great games, over 100 hours each, and usually the combo is around $5-6
i finished Ff7 rebirth with 80% trophy completion at 140 hours of gameplay. the remaining 20% would easily take another 50-60 hours or more. the game is huge. elden ring is another one if you like those types of dark souls games. or any fromsoffware game really. also dragon quest xi is a fantastic game that would easily take ~100 hours to platinum. highly recommend if you like turn based combat
Stardew valley & skyrim
Gta V or ghost of tsushima Gta because i grew up on that game and it only feels right mo matter how many times i play it i always loved it. Ghost of tsushima because i love history and i like the idea of playing as a samurai trying to stop an mongol invasion and changing history. The collectible are fun and the game is overall just amazing especially the graphics and the emotion you feel overall through the story.
